So...I have read others PTR & TR but have yet to come up with my own....so here it goes....my first Pre-Trip Report!!
Guess it's never too early to start a PTR for your next trip?!?!


Who:

Heather (28): I am a SAHM..Mother of 2! I LOVE Disney...especially now that we have kiddos to watch the excitement through their eyes! My Favorite character is Minnie!

James (DH30): Is a very hard worker!! He also likes Disney very much...never said he didn't want to go again! His favorite character is Grumpy.

Hunter (DS8): He is 100% BOY! Always going going going.....never slows down. He loves to play Baseball. LOVES his Video game systems too....i think he has almost every system...seems like it anyways! His favorite character is Sully & Mike W.

Ashlynn (DD3): She is 100% GIRL!! Loves to shop, dress up in pretty dresses and twirl around... and loves jewelry. She says that she wants to take Dance classes....so she is in a Ballet/Tap/Gymnastics class! She always moves & shakes it when she hears music on..its just too cute! Her favorite characters are all of the Princesses as well as Minnie, Mickey & Daisy!

So...this makes it look like all we are doing is stuffing our faces!! ahhh.....

This is going to be our 3rd Trip to WDW as a Family.
I went a couple times as a child but for some reason just can't remember. My DH went several times as a child too w/his family. As for our kiddos....DS was 5 yrs old on his 1st trip and 7 yrs old on his
2nd trip. DD was 5 months old on her 1st trip (she was a very good baby..we could take her anywhere) and was 2 yrs old on her 2nd trip. They both have now had a birthday so will be a year older when we go in July! They are so excited too....well, me too!!

Thinking of adding BBB for DD(just her hair, makeup & nails) and DS(they have a 'cool dude' package)...but when??!!

Is it worth it?

Does it take a long time?

My thought was that I could squeeze it in there before our Dinner @ 1900 Park Fare??

I originally wanted to do BBB before Akershus but that would be too too early!

Any thoughts?

I would suggest dumping the sci fi ressie. I'm a big girl and a big eater and your day is just jam packed with food. all you'll be doing is running from one ressie to another lol especially if you want to squeeze in BBB. Yes, I think it is def worth it. But not if you have to go from DHS back to MK and then over to GF. Traveling takes up a lot more time than you realize.

I like having everything pre-paid, love the extra snacks (that we bring home usually, but that is our intention) and just love having an app,entrée and dessert. What is worse is all the time you spend away form the park. People flame me for the 2 meals I do a day, let alone to throw in a 3rd I'm just worried your hubs request will be thrown out the window a couple days into your trip, thus wasting what money you spent on the plan. Tell him to keep in mind that you each have 2 snack credits per day.

I can see where he would think that! We don't like the QS at all! SO DxDP is the way for us, for now. I think once my DD turns 10 it will be something we have to reevaluate, as she doesn't eat much at all, and I would have to pay adult prices for her! May not be worth it at that point!

Having the DDP paid for in advance is awesome to us, so I think you will enjoy it as well. Just plan it in a way that allows for maximum park time, and not running from meal to meal time When I get back from picking DD up from school I will take a better look at your meal options and tell you what I think from my experience

Ok, I guess my next question is, why are you doing so much park hopping? why not do a full day at mk then a full day at epcot as opposed back ad forth? Also, I suggest doing rope drops if possible. you have late breakfasts and will be missing prime touring time

This is our first time for CRT..looking forward to it!

We have always done park hopping each day.....not sure why just have.....

Yes I would like the rope drops too but we are not morning people really....we;d rather stay late night at the parks instead. Last trip we were going to go to the EMH mornings but that never happened but we did have an extra 'adult' that took 3 hrs to get ready to leave in the morning so....that wont be happening this time...so maybe....I can get us up and at the park early for breakfast...lets see what dining ressies i can find.

switching up is half the fun! and I agree, I am NOT a morning person lol BUT, the friend I travel with said "you can sleep when you die" and she is right lol! Getting up early and out to the parks made all the difference in the world! Not all the parks, but DEF MK and DAK! Also, being as it is Sept, the parks aren't open as late! Totally stinks!

Anywho, I'm sure your ressies and plans will change a million times between now and Sept!

So....I have no new updates as of right now....things have been a little "weird" around our house.....we had a transformer that blew out on Tuesday causing us to loose quite a bit of our electronic stuff and my oven and microwave...man, you really dont know how much you really use things until you no longer have them!! Luckily, everyone was safe and the house is ok...could have been worse I keep saying. Now we just wait to see how the claim with the Electric company comes out.

Anywho....thought I would post some more photos from our past trips...I could really use a WDW trip right about now too!!
