How many floors at BLT?

What side is the walkway that connects BLT and CONT located? {near BL views or MK?}

Most importantly of all what types of beds are in the 1 bedroom villas? { 1 king or 2 queen?}

Are the fold out sofa/chairs comfy enough for adults?

How far / long of a walk to MK and monorail at Contemp?

And does anyone have pictures of a 1 bedroom? { Any links to galleries would be great}
Thanks!:goodvibes

There are 15 floors (the top floors are the 2-story grand villas and the Top of the World lounge).

The bridge connects near all view types: standard, lake and MK. It's on the 5th floor of the BLT, nearer to the south end of the building. Once you step onto the bridge, it's about 20-30 seconds to the CR, and then you need to take the escalator up to the monorail.

There is one king bed in the one-bedroom villas. My teenage ds and nephew thought the sofabed was very comfortable, and my teenage niece said the sleeper chair was very comfy.

Walking to the MK takes about 5-8 minutes.

There are lots of photos of rooms and room views on this thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2257082

Hope this helps!

Thanks! The link is very helpful also.
I was hoping for a 2 bed situation in place of the king but I am glad to hear the pullouts are comfy. Seems like everything is a easy walk.

I almost forgot to ask though if the monorail on the 7th floor at the Contemp?

I think all one bedroom villas have a king bed.

The monorail is on the 5th (sort of) floor in the Contemporary. You enter from BLT on the 4th, and in the center, past a gift shop or 2 is the escalator to the monorail.

Yes, all DVC 1BR villas have a king bed in the master.

The skybridge connects the 5th floor of BLT with the 4th floor of CR. AN escalator will take you up to the actual monorail platform.

Thanks guys! We are all so excited and cant wait !
We figured out where everyone should sleep. ( Thanks 2 u )
The way the BLT connects sounds cool. Never been in the Cont. but its something I remember ooohing and ahhing over as a kid everytime we passed through in the monorail.

One more question.... Does the bedroom {in the 1 bedroom} open to the balcony? [ Are they sliders or just big windows?] And does the main living area have a exit to the balcony also? Cant find this info anywhere... Thanks again:thumbsup2

The bedroom has actual sliding doors that open to the balcony. There is also a regular door (it's got windows and a shade that you can raise or lower) that opens onto the balcony from the living room, so you have access from there, too. Then there are also the big windows are in the living room that just look directly out. HTH! :)
