I'm reading a lot of info re: off site stays and am looking into Reunion. Can someone who has stayed there recently give me feedback please. I'd appreciate your opiinions.
We are staying at the Reunion at present. We were initially unsure about staying off site but we are so pleased that we made the decision to stay here. It is the most amazing 5 * property and beats Disney villas easily.
We have stayed at most of the Disney properties, including Key West, Saratoga Springs, Yacht and Beach, Wilderness Lodge but they do not begin to compare to Reunion.
Firstly, the house we are in is huge. We are a party of five and there is so much more room than at the Disney villas we have stayed in. There are three large bedrooms all with ensuite bathroom. Two of the rooms have king size beds with baths in the same room.
There is a full kitchen with living area. A large hallway and lots of storage space.
We have two balconies and a patio. Also the unit is a house with two of the bedrooms downstairs, rather than an appartment. There is a lovely view of the golf course and there are numerous pools, including a water park.
The food is excellent and there is a shuttle service to get around the resort.
The unit is also extremely clean which was not the case in the last villa we had at Disney. I have been coming to Disney for 25 years and have noticed the sad decline in both cleanliness and food quality at the resorts.
We have always stayed onsite in the past but are unlikely to do so again.
The Reunion resort is perfect!
It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to get to Disney. There are supermarkets nearby
