I do not know much about BWI but I have booked a CL standard room for Dec 2010. I was thinking of upgrading to the deluxe for the extra room (traveling 3 adults 2 kids).

1. What are the views from the main building? that is where these rooms are right?

2. Can we see Illuminations from our room in these rooms or would we be better off with our Eiffel (sp) tower view request?

Thanks for your help.

We were upgraded to a BWI CL room last January. It faced the lagoon, straight across was the YC. I don't think that you could see much of illuminations from there. The balcony was only large enough for 2 chairs.

We just stayed there, we booked standard CL but I am pretty sure we were upgraded to garden view since we could see the quiet pool and gardens. Not sure if there are any rooms you can see illuminations from but you are suppose to be able to see it from the CL Lounge.

thanks-

Hopefully I will be able to find a BW pro :) :goodvibes

Hi Leane,

The deluxe rooms are nice, but a standard room has two Queen beds as well as a Daybed. It should be OK for your party.

1. The Boardwalk is not like the values, mods, Grand Floridian, Polynesian or Contemporary. There is only one building, but two sides (Inn and Villas).

2. You would have little to no chance of seeing Illuminations from a room facing the boardwalk, but might should you be in a room in which you can see clearly to the left of the Eiffel Tower since that is where World Showcase Lagoon is placed.

I hope I have answered your questions.

Thanks, that did help alot. I think I would rather try for a room with a view of EP (with my room request) than upgrade to a room with the BW view.

Leane, then you definitely DO NOT want a deluxe room- they are all BW view.
Request a room with a garden view, 4th floor, near the lounge.
