At you laughing so hard the camera moved! I'm going to make Piper try Beverly, but she likes Moxie, as do I, so not sure how that's going to go, it should be interesting! So nice to see Josh (and everyone else) having such a great time. I know I'm prob going to have front of the line guilt issues when we go, especially when Piper looks "normal", so I don't blame you guys for feeling that way. I think anyone with any conscience at all would. The pics are great though! I love the look on Hannah's face when she met Pluto

Please try to not have the guilt about going to the front of the line. It is so you can get things done and not tire her out. I would wait forever in a line just so Piper could have a wonderful time .

I handed the shirts out when I gave Hannah the Epcot dress and said "please wear these today" and to my surprise they did!

We went up in the elevator and checked in at Teppan Edo. Abbey and Josh seemed to be stressed a little, something to do with Christian. I checked us in, asked Hannah if she wanted the buzzer thingy and she declined. She was not in a good mood, they had made her get in the stroller so they could get to the Japan Pavilion quicker and she wanted to walk. So she looked like this:

I tried to get a good picture of Josh and got this:

They called us after about 20 minutes and two guys were put with us. Can you believe I almost got a smile?:

The server made the chop sticks easier for Christian and Hannah, she liked them, Christian acted silly:

We didn’t have dessert there, Bill and I had a funnel cake in mind. We went down into the store and I purchased some pick-a-pearls for Abbey and me. Christian was going to pick mine and Hannah would pick Abbey’s. Here is the video of it:



After we got the pearls, I told Josh and Abbey that Bill and I needed to get to the accessible seating area by Germany so Bill could see Illuminations, those sections are usually packed. We offered to take the kids with us so Josh and Abbey could check out some of the World Showcase. They said they would be back before the fireworks started.

We grabbed a funnel cake and made our way to the accessible area. Miguel from Porto Rico let us past the rope. He was a fantastic CM. He talked to us and the kids. Hannah got her second wind when the music started to let us know Illuminations would be starting soon.

The strangest thing happened no one else came in the accessible area that has never happened in the other 5 trips. The music got livelier and so did Hannah, Christian, and Miguel. Miguel acted like he was orchestrating the music and the kids danced to it:



It was a really wonderful magical memory. Meanwhile Josh and Abbey were checking out Italy:

They went past Germany and all the way over to China when they heard it was getting close to the time for the fireworks. Josh called and said they were on their way. They had been gone an hour you would think in that time they had smoked a couple of times right??

They came into the accessible area, it was 8:56pm and Josh said: “we are going to go smoke, ok?” I saw the look of disappointment and sadness on Bill’s face and said “you have been gone an hour, you had to have smoked, please wait until after the fireworks”. Well apparently he didn’t like my answer because he went off on me about “being an adult and not being told what to do” and “he could go smoke whenever he wanted to”. Abbey knew this was going to get ugly and asked him to stop, he wouldn’t let it go and kept rambling on. The fireworks started and he kept on, I told him I wasn’t going to argue with him and then he said it. “Grandma (my xMIL) said you would be like this, she said you would try to control me”. Well that woman is a huge trigger for me and he knows it. Until that point I was ignoring him but Bill said later he saw the look on my face the very moment Josh brought up his Grandma. He knew it was not going to be good.

I snapped, so upset I was crying and I won’t go into details but it got really ugly really fast. It ended up with the kids hugging me individually and telling Josh to not be mean. Josh saying I was trying to turn the kids against him (can we say DRAMA QUEEN?) and him leaving. He had told Abbey that if he ever gets really upset he would just take a walk and to not worry about him. Abbey stayed with us. We talked for a long time and let the park empty out.

We got on a bus, went back to the resort and Josh was there asking where we had been since he had been back at the resort for a while. Abbey told me the next day that Josh wasn’t paying attention, (he should have been reading the map) and went out the International Gateway over to the Boardwalk, Beach Club area. My kid is such a hick from the country in Southern Illinois he thought all the lights on the other side of the lagoon was Orlando. Can you believe that?

Karma kicked in for him rather quickly, it seems all that walking not knowing where he was had done a number on his feet and he had multiple blisters. He had Abbey ask me if I had anything for them. Please, me not have stuff for blisters or pain? Everything was peaceful and we went to bed.

Next installment… our best character interaction ever and will Josh join us?

I knew he would pull it I just didn't know when. It was like a slap in the face, but it didn't work out exactly the way he wanted it to. Everyone stayed with us and he learned he couldn't pull that crap like he used to.
