Guitar Hero, Rock band, Band Hero????

Can someone talk me through these? DH asked for Guitar Hero World Tour for Christmas. Not a problem, though I'm not nuts about the songs for my kids (who'll want to play.) Band Hero and/or Lego Rock Band look to have more, er, family friendly lyrics... Can I get the GH bundle and then the separate Band Hero or Lego games? (or would Lego not work with the instruments, because it's RB, not GH?)

My other option is just getting the Band Hero bundle, though I note that just jumped up $30 from the time I started looking yesterday. Ugh!

What am I missing that the Band Hero bundle is $200, but the World Tour bundle is $120, the Band Hero game $50, so together they'd still be less than the Band Hero bundle?

We got Band Hero for Wii as as early present to use at our Christmas party.on sale at Best Buy last week for $150.

We bought an extra Guitar Hero guitar at Gamestop for $40.

We rented Lego Rock Band. It works great with Band Hero.

DH was looking for the same deal as you but was unable to locate guitar hero bundle.

I believe that is the one my DH was looking at. He decided to go with Band Hero to make sure it was compatible with Rock Band.

It should work. Alos, Rock band will play on BAnd Hero instruments. But Band Hero can not be used with Rock Band instruments

We bought a guitar Hero guitar for our Wii. It plays Rock Lego Rock Band just fine. Guitar Hero and BAnd Hero are the same brand. They should work.
My Dh said some of the older guitars may not be compatible with Rock Band. But, the new one are.

We rented Lego Rock Band from Blockbuster for $21.99 for a 30 day game rental.
It worked just fine with BAnd Hero Kit and Guitar Hero Guitar.
