Delivering a Gift INSIDE the cabin

I remember reading in a TR (i think) that someone had a gift they brought on the ship delivered inside their families cabin.
Is this possible?
Can I pack a gift that I want to give my parents and then take it to guest services and they will deliver it to the cabin? It's not something I just want to leave on their door. PLUS - I think it would be a fun surprise if they found it on their bed. :thumbsup2

I've had the stateroom host place a gift in a cabin for me. If your parents have a cabin by yours you will probably have the same host. If so you can leave it out in your room and ask them to move it to your parents room while you are all out at a meal or excursion.

I don't remember ever reading here on the DIS that guest services took care of anything like that.

Hi- I'll preface this by saying I haven't cruised before but plan to in February & plan to call Shirley at perfect gift -from recommendations on this board.

(look up perfect gift port canaveral on internet -it won't let me post the link because I have a low post count lol!)

From what I've heard she can put together many varieties of baskets & customize them as you wish & they are delivered to the ship & put in the cabins.

I've done that too. Make sure it's marked with the names and cabin number, so it does not get mis-delivered.

If you do not have the same stateroom host, a small cash tip is appropriate.

We won't have the same stateroom host. We're on different floors.

I think Shirley at perfect gift is GREAT! She seems like a truly nice person. But my budget is tight, so I'm thinking I can only get them something inexpensive, or even have the kids make them something.

This will be their first cruise, so I just want to try to do a little something to make it special.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions.

My suggestion is to make some magnets and then sneak them on their door while they are not around. I had some wonderful pixy dusters on here that put some on my parents room on their last cruise and they are still talking about it. I have seen many links on here with ideas that I can't wait to use for our next cruise for both our room, my parents room, and some to pixy dust to random strangers..
