We're Hooked!!!

My family had a great "First Visit" to WDW just a few weeks ago. We were excited to be staying at FW but had no idea just how much we would enjoy it. I don't think we'll be staying anywhere else. We decided that we needed to add a few days to the next trip to be able to fully enjoy the Fort. Just wanted to share

Welcome to the obsession - great place to vacation and I've only made it to the Fort twice (but many times to WDW). These boards are a great place to spend the days between trips.

What were your favorite times at the Fort?

Did you stay in a cabin or a campsite?

we've been a few times to the fort - but now that is our place of choice.

When I tell others that ask where we are staying, they say "Oh" with a slight nod of the head. It's almost as if they are saying "I'm so sorry". They just have no clue - and I don't elaborate. That can be my secret.

We really enjoyed the Fort. You know, I'm a little sad to say that we didn't get to experience much of anything there. That's all going to change here next November. We're even talking about taking a "no park" trip to the Fort. Read on here that someone had done that and had a blast.

Did you stay in a cabin or a campsite?

We stayed in a tent. My two little boys loved it!!!! They are all about camping. We do have a fifth wheel though and may try to hook her up for an inaugural trip.

That's so funny. We got the same looks too when we would discuss our trip. I don't think we'd have it any other way though.

I'm sure that it's posted all over the place, but what do you guys make sure that you don't miss at the fort?

The cast members were great! On our very first night there we went to the trading post to look around and the cast member behind the counter called my boys over and played a welcome message from Goofy. Gave me a warm fuzzy as I love all things Disney. (My hubby proposed at Disneyland and my oldest son took his first steps there. What's not to love )
