Hi All,

We've decided not to do the dining plan this time round and thought we'd like to try new places - not the normal chains like TGI; Olive Garden and Chillis. Has anyone any recommendations - we're not very good at trying new places so any pointers would be much appreciated.

Bahama Breeze and Outback are both good. Melting Pot is a fun evening out with unusual fondues.

You can't go wrong with The Cheesecake factory, bahama breeze and Mannys, and Cracker barrel for breakfast popcorn::

Our favourite by a mile is Texas de Brazil, not the cheapest place, but excellent food. Also if you sign up for their newsletters you can get discount vouchers!

Another vote for Sweet Tomatoes and we like Golden Corral as well.

Another vote for Cheesecake Factory, and even tho it IS a chain I love Tony Romas.
Celebration Town Tavern and Texas De Brazil are other places I've heard good things about :)

:goodvibes

The Melting Pot is so lush, we ate there in Boston and didn't know they had one in Orlando, everyone should go!! It's not cheap ($100 for me and the bf inc. tip) but lovely for a treat :)
Love the Cheesecake Factory too, it's definitely one of the nicer reasonably priced chains in the US :) Eaten at 3 of their locations so far and always had a great meal :goodvibes

Just wondering where is the Cheesecake Factory? Is Cracker Barrel similar to the Ponderosa for breakfast? We fly in 3 days so am trying to find as many alternative breakfast and evening restaurants as we can.:cool1::dance3::dance3:

cheesecake factory is at mall of millenia, next to Brio Tuscan grill. menu is amazing! link here

CrackerBarrel is a really different kind of place, great shop attached, a few locations, look at website for menu here

Agree with many on here about Cheesecake Factory, Celebration Town Tavern and Bahama Breeze.

Also like D'Antonios (again at Celebration) and Giardono's pizza :)

my vote goes to Cheescake Factory! YUM

We also enjoy Chevvys (www.chevvys.com) at Crossroads, LBV. Huge portions, and free tortilla chips to start with (tip - don't order a starter!!)

Also agree with Bahama Breeze, Olive Garden and Tony Romas (think Monday nights they have all you can eat ribs).
