The Sea Witch Stole My Voice! Our Two Week Land and Sea Adventure! COMPLETE 4/12

What a nice way to spend the afternoon... oohing and ahhing over all your photo's! And now I'm finally all caught up, 8 installments later. ;)

I can't find the pic now, but there was a cactus pic that seemed rather... ahem.... made of a bunch of man parts. :rotfl2: I know... but I can't help it! :lmao:

:lmao:

I'm curious what made you sick? I'm thinking dehydration? :confused3

popcorn::

I think that may have contributed to my feeling worse that afternoon but since I had started feeling ill the night before.... ;)

WOW!! What gorgeous pictures!!! And I'm so glad that you were feeling a little better at this point in the day. Can't wait to hear more!!

Thanks :goodvibes I was grateful that I started to feel better as well. I can not imagine spending the rest of the cruise feeling like that.

Great Update as usual Lessa

Thanks Rosie :goodvibes

All caught up again. Thank you for the beautiful pics. The poppy/remberance day reminder was wonderful. :goodvibes

Sorry you didn't feel well. Hope you felt better fast!

Lessa I forgot to comment on Poppy day !! It was a big traditon in England too !!! Everyone wore their poppies !!!!

Your trip report has got to be the most comprehensive trippie I've ever read!!! :goodvibes

I am really looking forward to cruising one day and I have found your observations to be very helpful. I love all the pictures!!!!

Glad that you are enjoying the report and have found it helpful. I am trying to write the kind of cruise report that I was looking for when planning my first cruise. :thumbsup2

Thanks! It really was fabulous. Rediscovered the magic of staying onsite. :wizard: I think my mil finally felt the magic of it all. :cool1: It was her first time staying onsite and seeing any night shows...and she's been at least half a dozen times! Can you imagine?! :scared1::rotfl:

Since Den and I have been married I kept trying to convince her to stay to see the night shows but I guess she just didn't get what all the fuss what about until now! She's also collecting pins now. I've crested a monster. :lmao:

 The nighttime shows are a major part of the magic!

Exactly!! She told me she had never stayed in a park past 5pm! :scared: We managed to pull it all off (including Osborne lights) this time except Fantasmic. We got rained out. 6:30 show didn't but 8 show did. That will be our top priority next trip for her. Can't complain really since it was the only few hours of rain we had the entire trip.

Aww, that is too bad. Fantasmic is the best of the nighttime shows in my opinion.

Yeah yeah, brag about your rain-free trip. :snooty: Are you trying to make me jealous?

Glad you are feeling better!!! Did you do any shopping while exploring??!!

You will find out tomorrow night. ;)

I have the Fantasmic Package for February !! an you believe I've only seen it once !!! Either the family pooped out or it's rained out !!!!!

Lessa if Judy gets this new job, which is looing very hopeful, she wil be earning more and wants to do a landsea for the girls 16th !! Am I right that it is cheapeto book seperately??? I thought 4 day cruise and did a quick price check for the 5 of us in a delux family suite it was about 3,600 !! Does that sound good ??

Yes, it is usually cheaper to book the two parts separately. What type of room were you looking at, verandah or oceanview? I guess that price sounds about right, it seems high for such a short cruise but I only ever look at a two-person rate when pricing cruises so of course it seems shocking to me. That is almost as much as Mom and I paid for the two of us in a verandah room on a 7-night.

Don't hold out for any discounts though, DCL doesn't really do that. The only discount I have ever seen is the "kids sail free" promotion. Not sure the specifics on that one, my understanding is that it was really limited.

The price is for 5 and it was a deluxe family suite oceonview , but I kinda like the veranda !! I posted our pix with Eyore etc on my ptr !!!!! Hint Hin t !!!!:lmao:

Good morning!! I am here!! How was your weekend??

:rolleyes1 So...I'm thinking that the cruise in May 2011 could work out really well!! Really, my only concern is that Landon won't be potty-trained and so he can't go into the free kids club. (And I'm pretty sure he couldn't sail free even under 3 either, if my parents and I got seperate staterooms, correct?) That truly is my only issure for going then. I will have to consider it a lot but I may just jump the gun and go for it!! I'll keep you posted! :goodvibes

I was just at your TR and didn't see any Eeyore pictures. Do you have a new one? :confused3

Weekend was fun. My university won the Yates Cup (football) and so are moving on the the National Championship(Vanier Cup). Work was busy though as a result as people felt the need to drink themselves silly and have huge parties to "celebrate".

Then Alek came over on Sunday and we decorated the tree(s) for Christmas. :thumbsup2
