Hi All!!! I'm back again! 
I'm finally getting around to starting the TR for my DD's 6th Birthday Surprise Trip. You may have followed over from my PTR but if you haven't...and want to check out some of the previous excitement- head over to:

This was our first surprise trip. We go to WDW annually (and mommy sometimes goes a few times a year
). However, this year we purchased a new home and DD started private school. Because of both, we told DD that a trip to WDW was not in the cards this year. However....that was a BIG FAT LIE. We started planning this trip a year ago. 
If you are a new reader, I probably should introduce myself

About about an intro to the rest of the gang?
This is my DH and DD from our 2008 Disney trip.
So a year in planning. It was a constant worry about being able to pull it off. I had sewn (and bought
) outfits that I had no clue if they would fit her. I was waiting for someone to slip and reveal the secret. I figured my daughter would snoop and find SOMETHING. Well I'm happy to report that NONE of that happened. So on 10/22, I went to DD's school under the pretense of dismissing her for her annual physical. Conveniently, I "forgot" her health insurance card and we had to swing by the house to pick it up
Instead what was waiting at the house was a trail of pixie dust up the front walk, a bag of goodies from Tink, and my DH with a video camera. 
Two important notes here:
1) If you haven't read any of my PTRs/TRs before, we kick off every Disney trip with a visit from Tink. DD always knows we are going to Disney but never "when". She knows we are going well Tink comes (much like Santa) and leaves a note, some goodies, and a trail of pixie dust.
2) DD knew she was doing SOMETHING for her birthday. We had to tell her that so she didn't start inviting kids to a birthday party that wasn't going to happen. Her actual birthday was the 24th. She decided on her own that her birthday surprise would be on her actual birthday AND that it had to be somewhere that you could drive to because "your birthday is only 1 day a year". She decided that we must be going to Hershey Park. Why you might ask? Well, my DH told her one day that he would give up the secret and that we were going to Philadelphia. DD took this to be not the answer, but a clue. She had seen something on the travel channel about Hershey Park and knew it was in PA. So she decided that since Hershey Park and Philly were both in PA, we must be going to Hershey Park (we later informed her that you can't drive from our house to Hershey Park, enjoy the park, and drive back in one day!)
This TR will include LOTS of pics (I took over 1100 and have over 200 on PP...I won't bore you with all of them), Food/restaurant reviews, new characters, MNSSHP, and lots of fun. I hope that it won't disappoint and you will continue to follow along
