Good Deal?? Xmas 2009

Hiya guys...havent been on for a wee while (just getting over the post Disney blues from May)

Looks like we'll be going back for Christmas and wanted to know if you think this is a good deal (there will be 3 adults travelling) ......
Glasgow to Orlando - Mon 21st Dec (via Newark)- dep 09.00 arr 18.03
11 days in Orlando Metropolitan Express (our fav hotel on I drive)
Then a friend is taking us around the "bottom" end of Florida (The Keys/Miami)
then return
Tampa to Glasgow (via Newark) - arrive back 8th Jan at 07.30am

Prices :
Flights - £1746
hotel - £246
Car Hire - £243 (fully inclusive)

We think its an amazing price - what do you think?

defo good price - we flight out a week later LOL We have always wondered if that hotel was any good, we booked the rodeway becuase we got a good deal. who are you booking your car hire with???

We have always used Floridacarhire.com - the fully inclusive gold option includes all insurance etc........

Looks good for Xmas. We got a bargain last Xmas Virgin Holidays direct flights £580pp for flight & hotel(Fairfield Inn) but they were a lot more expensive this Xmas.
Just checked car, can't get £243 for your dates
looked at 21st Dec~7th Jan smallest car, is that not what your quote is for? coming up at £293 Alamo or £294 Dollar for me.

Looks like it will be booked either today or tomorrow...........will keep you posted......
Am a bit undecided whether to book the hotel through alpharooms or roomsnet - both prices are very similar but havent used either of them before.....what do you suggest?

i have used alpha rooms many times with no problem, i expect the same with other company as well, whatever is cheapest is the best idea.
