So I guess the days of one huge line snaking through the terminal early on are over?
Yes, that problem is eliminated but another one cropped up with the new system. Tons of people will linger around the entrance to the queue to board the ship. We have been boarding #2 the last 3 cruises and we literally had to muscle our way through the crowds to get to the boarding area.

On our last DCL we were on the 1st bus leaving MCO to the port (9:30am) and I believe we were 4's.
No, you dont. You go to the roped off end of the terminal. When they are ready to board you go through a side door thats right there instead of through the ears. They send through the family of the day, handicapped, then suite guests.
Then the general boarding begins.
Not through the ears? HEY! I cry foul!
On our last cruise we drove to port and we were about the 4th vehicle in line. We drove up to the curb where I dropped off my DW and DD off with the luggage. They proceeded into the terminal while I parked and they got a #4 boarding pass. I know it doesn't make much of a difference, but would we get a lower number if they lined up by the fence while I waited in the vehicle line by myself?
Omgosh... this just seems rude to me. I guess... I don't understand how they hand out passes but to thumb pass the 2s in front of you seems a little rude to me.I have been on 5 Disney Cruises - four of those times we had a 2 boarding pass. The last time I went, I was with a Dis friend and our daughters - the four of us sharing one room. We got there early and went to the CC check in. There was an older woman handing out tickets - she had the #2's on the top of her cards - she looked at us and shuffled past her 2's and handed us 4's. I politely asked if we could have the 2 boarding pass and she did give them to us bus she did not seem happy about it. The four of us were dressed in Disney gear with our CC bags from our cruise the month before and very smiley!

someone said from a previous post that they wont' let you in the Wonder earlier than 1 pm. Did you find that to be true? Because I am planning on arriving at around 10 am for my Nov cruise! When we last cruised on the Wonder, we used DCL transportation from the airport and were able to check in and receive our KTTW cards there. We were given boarding passes #2.
