Hi

So this will be my tenth visit to Florida and I have never been in September, I have been in April May July and October had lovely weather we went in August for two weeks rained all day every day :sad2:

So what is September be like weather wise crowd wise?

Im so excited already its months away :rotfl:

I like September, its still hot but not too hot, we've been twice and I think each time we had maybe two rain days but it was never for long and did not spoil the day at all, crowds are also quite low but the free dining did make a difference.

I went for the first two weeks of September this year and had a great time. Really hot weather, with a few rain showers and one time where it didn't stop for most of the day.

The crowds were a bit all over the place really - September means MNSSHP and Night of Joy at MGM, which means that a lot of people head to a park depending on where they can spend the most time, or where the EMHs are. As long as you look in advance what's going on in each park you should be able to avoid the worst of the crowds. Epcot had 10 minute queues most of the days we were there (even for Soarin'!), then one or two evenings (MNSSHP at MK) the queues shot up to 60 minutes. Free Dining also pushed the crowds up this year I would say.

I've been throughout July and August before, and I must say September definitely was the best time for me. Hope that helps, any other questions, feel free to ask :goodvibes

thanks every one we are looking for last 2 weeks of september food wine will start just after we get there so i know that will make it busy im not as bothered about crowd wise as if its got a big que we just wont do it but its the weather i love the sun lol

we love sept but then again we got married out there then! We are going back 1st sept next year and we are taking our twins who will be around 9 months old.

Once labor day is out the way the crowds are great and the weather is still hot but we dont feel its too hot and the rain can come but it doesnt bother us

ah bless ya hope your ok least its warm inside :D I got to leave for work at half past keep thinking this time last week I was in and making me sad :sad1:

Probably still catch the end of the summer high temperatures, but humidity wise nothing like as bad as July or August.
Afternoon thunderstorms very likely, though often they clear up fairly quickly.
Crowds more difficult to predict with DDP but like the weather not as bad as earlier in the summer.
Overall a decent time to go.

I didn't witness a single thunderstorm during my trip in September. There was very little rain, it was extremely hot during the day and in the evenings there was often a welcome breeze. The crowd levels were quite low- we didn't queue for longer than 25 minutes and that was for TSM!

We have been twice in September. We had about an hours rain most afternoons, but otherwise was very hot! The crowds weren't bad at all!

Just popping by to say i have already booked for September 2010 and so looking forward to it, we have never been this time of year before and can't wait to go to the food and wine festival and Halloween party which will all be new for us :)

It is hot a HEdoublehockeystick BUT, the crowds (at least the past 2 years) have been minimal! Also, you can attend MNSSHP in September!

thanks every one Im looking forward to being able to make the most of food and wine :D next year I cant wait for next year first choice wouldnt believe me that disney were offerins SSR at the price I told them they had to check as they could only find SSR for $4,500 with out flight disney tickets or dining :0

We have been going in September for a few years and this year it was the busiest we have seen it. It is becoming a more popular time.

Weather wise it will hot & sunny for the most part. There is a chance of afternoon showers and we have known a whole day of rain too. This helps to clear the humidity so no bad thing!

Did you end up booking SSR with discount and free dining through First Choice? :goodvibes

lol no we did flights though and got an upgrade to their premium

I dont know why we got upgraded he just said he would for nothing :D

We always go in September, we went for 3 weeks this year and had loads of sunshine, we had light rain for 3 hours one morning & only a quick shower now & again. It has always been hot every year & like others have said maybe a thunderstorm in the afternoon but clearing up to more hot weather. It is beginning to get busy but only the main rides in peak times. Weekends are busier (Friday to Sunday) then midweek. We would not go any other time as we love the sun. The Food & Wine festive was a little disappointing for us, it spoilt the relaxing atmosphere of the place. We ending up comming away but everyone is different and you should judge for yourself. It would be interesting to hear comments from others about it. Do you like it or not?
