I thought I would let you guys know about these batteries in case any of you are thinking of buying any new ones for your digital camera in the near future.
We saw these advertised on TV before leaving for our holiday so thought we would give them a try - but we bought 4 packs just in case they didn't live up to their own hype.
I put 2 new ones in our camera the morning we left for Manchester airport - and 750 photos and 6 x 2 minute videos later they finally needed changing. We also played back the videos that we took on the camera so they would have gone for longer if it was purely picture taking.
Needless to say we have been extemely impressed by these batteries and would highly recommend them :thumbsup2

Thanks pegasus, it is always good to know when a product lives up to its hype (did i spell that right!). I normally used rechargable batteries in my cameras, but it had already occured to me that I would have to use an adaptor with the charger, i have found in the past that heavy plugs don't do well in US sockets the only 2 pins don't deal with weight the plug just drops forward. I will certainly buy some of these before our trip to take with me, save me possibly buying expensive batteries at the parks.

Following advice from this board we took a 4 way extension lead to WDW this year. We plugged it into the US socket via one adaptor and then supported the weight on a table (although when we wanted to use the table it was OK on the floor.)

This didn't just allow us to plug in the battery charger without any problem but we were also able charge up our video camera and DS lites at the same time.:)

A rather untidy table at WDW!!

I bought a travel charger from Argos several years ago . The make is Uniross and when folded up fits in the palm of your hand. When opened it can charge 4 batteries.
The great thing is it comes with different types of plugs which clip on so they plug straight into the US socket. As it's so light, we found it ideal.

ooh Dimplenose didn't think about that - your battery charger looks almost the same as ours, will maybe give this a go but still take some batteries in case power goes whilst at a park.

These batteries are fantastic...we use them all the time in our camera....wont buy anything else now. They take hundreds and I mean hundreds of photos before they run out.

And if you want rechargeables, can't recommend Sanyo Eneloop enough, had for around £6 for 4 from 7dayshop

:thumbsup2 another vote for these batteries :) i've not long bought some and I can't believe how long they last for compared to previous rechargeables :)

after batteries running out in epcot last year, trying to take a picture of donald duck in mexico, we bought some of these and they are still in my camera now.
