I'M BACK!
Ladies and Gents, after some hints and begging by a few DIS'ers (you know who you are), I've decided to start my PTR early. Now, it's up to you guys to help me keep it going! This trip is a special one because it's my Graduation from college with my Bachelor's Degree present from my parents. They are paying for our room and B/F(now Fiance!) and I are paying for the Dining Plan. We're already Annual Passholders, so we don't need to worry about that!
Since I've done several TR's now, I won't bore you with all the little details about me. Let's get on to the info about the trip!
Who?: This will be my first ever trip to WDW out of the 20 something times I've been there that I'm going without my Mom, Dad, and Sis. It's just the Fiance and me! He's been 4 times now and he's starting to like it more and more.
When?: We are both in college, so the best time for us to go is over our Spring Break, so we'll be there March 14-19. We're leaving home the 13th, staying the night in Chatanooga, then getting to WDW the 14th. We're leaving WDW the 19th, staying the night in Chatanooga again, then getting home the 20th.
Where?: This is actually our first time staying at POP. I've stayed at the All Star Sports once a long time ago when I was competing in Nationals for tumbling. As most of you who know me, I have stayed at the Contemporary, GF, Poly, WL Villas, and OKW lots of times. While we understand that POP is not like any of those, we're just happy to be going and having somewhere to sleep!
As a lot of DIS'ers may know, the 180 day mark for making ADR's is beginning on October 27th. I'm sure both the online and phone reservation systems will be a ZOO. But, I have to hope for the best and keep my fingers crossed! Oh, I should also mention that we're doing the Dining Plan.
Here's where we want to eat though:
Breakfast: Kona Cafe
Everything else, we are going to do for lunch instead of dinner. Since March park hours are not being posted until the 27th also, we figured we can just plan our CS meals for dinner once the hours are up.
Lunch: The Wave, Hollywood Brown Derby, Le Cellier or Big River Grille, and Yak & Yeti.
B/F and I ate at Yak & Yeti back in June and LOVED it. I've been to Le Cellier before and LOVED it, so I know B/F will to. The others are all new.
Well, welcome aboard this PTR everyone and I hope you enjoy the ride....
