Not happy with Photopass

Our Photopass pictures expire tomorrow - 11/10/09.

I had edited them all and got just under 500 but, due to various reasons such as DD being in hospital, starting new job etc, only got around to doing my Photobook last week. I started it one day and saved it and then had almost completed it the next day. The Photopass system then crashed and I lost all the work I had done. I know I should have saved it more frequently.

I emailed them explaining the situation and asked for an extension so I could complete it. I have just had a reply from them saying that they are happy to extend my time "for a fee"!!!!!.

7 days is $4.95
15 days is $15.95

Looks like I will be spending the rest of day doing my photobook.:surfweb:

that's a reall shame , but you know what disney are like for making a buck or 3 .

I am sure you will love the photo's when they arrive.:goodvibes

In the disclaimer it states they can not extend 30 days.
I would count myself lucky they would do it even for a fee.
Granted they are out to make a buck my luck is I would be stuck out.
I sorry your DD was sick I hope she is better.

I think that thye have realised people often left it to the last minute & then ran out of time and asked for an extension. This used to be given free but they have obviously decided that they can make some extra $$ that way!

Yes I know some people on here had been given extensions that was why I asked. It seems the fees have only been introduced from 6th October.

I must say also, that I was not as impressed with the quality of the photos this year compared to 2 years ago. We seem to have lots that are very dark and some with the top of DH's head chopped off! They seem to have increased the number of photographers (saw lots "earning their ears") whilst we were there but maybe not invested in adequate training for them.

Have to say this year we had a marked difference in photographers. The ones in the Charater meet & greets were far better than those doing the portrait type shots at the landmarks.

We travelled with a 15 mth old and the ones with the characters just kept taking photos even the poses so we have some good ones of DD looking at the camera.

The ones in front of the landmarks they took 2 or 3 and that was it. Half the time DD is looking away :sad2:

I am going to email photopass and tell them my thoughts and let them know we had some photos 'lost' that they couldn't find. Just hope it improves the service back to what it was.
