Does anyone know if you still get glasses to wear to look at the usbourne lights in Hollywood studio?

When did you get glasses?
We saw Osbourne lights on our 1st Xmas trip in 2000 and last Xmas, neither time had glasses.:confused3

I have not heard of anyone getting the glasses since the backlot neighborhood set was demolished to make way for Lights, Motors, Action, about 4 or 5 years ago.

The glasses were a variation of the paper 3D glasses. They had tiny angels embedded in the lens, so that when you looked at the lights, you saw angels flying around them.

Maybe they were there in 2000 then and we missed them. Don't remember otheres wearing them.

I only remember seeing them for one trip, though we didn't visit every year this decade. My brother had come to Orlando to visit when I lived there, so it was somewhere between 2002-2005. A quick web search reveals other reports as early as 1998, but no sightings recently. Others reported snowflake glasses instead of angels.

The last time we saw Osborne Lights was Christmas 2001 and we had them then. Haven't managed to catch them since the move from the backlot.

Hi

We go every year at christmas and have not had glasses for about the last 6years.

They had glasses last year, they were free to annual pass holders, you needed to show your pass at Package Pick up at The Studios and they issued you with a pair - I am not sure if there was a charge if you didn't have a pass.

Never knew anything about them, had AP last Xmas so missed out on that.:sad1:
