Congrats to Mike and Matt!!!! Both of you were fantastic!
We couldn't stay to see them finish but saw them more than once on bike route and on run. Got couple pics so will try to post later.
Mike - you so rocked it!! Looked good every time.

I just got home and wanted to post up that I finished and felt GREAT along the way.
This definitely ranks as one of the best experiences of my life, and I'm humbled and thankful for the support and well wishes from the disboards.
I'll work on putting my thoughts on paper for a race report, and post it up later.
Thank you again WISHers...it really was a dream come true!

Mike - Yes, there was a vidoe feed of teh finish line. SAdly, you were too fast and I wasn't home in time to catch you. Had been tracking you as I could all day, though! You rock!
Liz - So glad you could see them! How awesome! So, full for you adn Patrick in 2011?

Forgot to post abotu my tri. A sprint seems rather trivial with our 2 new Ironmen from teh weekend, but I know they won't hold it against me. 
Weekend was so busy, that I couldn't compare ti tot former times until today.
Here's the breakdown:
Swim (1/2 mile) 20 seconds more than my PR. but 6 min off last year. :-O
Bike (17.2) - Best pace ever! Close to 1mpm faster than last year too!
Run (4.9)- Best pace this year. A little worse than last year, but I did awesome last year. After my running slump this year, I am very pleased.
Total - 8 min and 5 sec better than last year! Very happy!
The couorse is in a very small adn proud community. They take great pridein tehir tri too. AMazing community support. Very fun time!
DH PR'd big time,s o he is thrilled. yay for ending the season on such a great note!

As for a full IM -- um, no. The idea of a full mara on the end just blows it for me. I've got Steelhead as goal for next year. Patrick does not even have that on his radar unless as relay. (he's got co-worker that is strong swimmer even in open water, he rocks the bike - just looking for a runner. Any takers?

Oh and I'm doing the local Danskin Sprint Tri on the 27th. Got email from friend last week asking if I was interested, said maybe then she said she had a free entry if I wanted it. Well then I just have to do it, right? Went to book hotel and was able to get it on my Marriott points. Apparently I am supposed to be doing this one. Plan on rocking it!

Carrie: WTG on the sprint, and the huge improvement!
Liz: I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't see you, and am humbled if you saw, recognized and photographed me. If you do have any pics, that would be greatly appreciated as I hated the photos that ASI took, so I don't really have any... If I'm around for Steelhead, I'll do it with you! When/where is the Danskin tri?

Mike? You think you had something mroe important to do than scan for WISHerrs during the race? 
ROTFL! I have aa hard enough time finding DH on out and backs and he's wearing a WISH shirt.
Liz - Well, Ptrick doesn't want me or Scott on that relay! We finish. That's about it. yeah, it's hard enough doing a full with fresh legs. Can't imagine. Then agian, I can't imagine doing a half yet. Didn't realize PAtrick wassn't doing the half with you. Cool about Danskin! Meant to be!

Carrie - Patrick wants to do longer Dus. He'll likely do more sprint tris, thinking about olympic but has no interest beyond that.
Mike - We saw you as you came out of T1. Didn't realize it early enough to yell but gave us idea as to colors you had on. We were at the Verona loop (right before timing mat). Run - first loop, around corner from where the special need food bags were. I yelled, you waved but guessed didn't know who I was (Patrick was on other side of road with WISH shirt - mine had gunk on it). Pics of moving cyclists very hard to get when trying to lean over barricades w/o getting in anyone's way. Sadly the only run pics I have of you are as you went past. Sorry.
Gotta work on picture taking at events.
