CP Package...worth 2 TS credits?

I wonder if booking this package is really necessary. It would make things a lot easier and we wouldn't have to wait. Plus we are going on a weekend so I'm sure it will be busy. What are you all planning to do?

Wow, I didn't know they changed it to 2 TS credits. Last year we did the dinner package at Tutto Italia for the 5:00 show on Dec 15. I think all the standby people got in for the show. I wouldn't spend 2 credits for the package...this year we are going to take our chances and hope to get in.

I just booked our ADRs and we are not doing the package. We did it last year because my parents really wanted to go and my father needed wheelchair seating.

I do not think it is worth 2 TS credits especially when you still have to wait in line for an hour and everyone usually gets in anyway. On a weekend it may be tough but we have sat outside as my DS can not sit that long and have had no problem hearing or seeing the show.

I wouldn't waste 2 TS credits.I will take my chances with Standby...if I even bother this year at all

Not worth it, considering all of the other places you could eat for 2TS. We were going to add the DDP to our DVC reservation until this change. We are doing the CP and paying cash this trip. It was easy to get a CP also. I'm guessing alot of folks have decided not to use 2TS credits for it.

I was not happy either about the increase in credits and price for the package. However, I did decide to book the package and pay cash and instead of doing a tier 3 restaurant we are doing a tier 2. We'll be eating at Nine Dragons instead of our usual Le Cellier. Thats ok, because my DH wanted to try that anyway. We've done LC every year for 5 years, time for change. They are including an appetizer in this years package, so that makes me feel slightly better. Not a whole lot better but a little.

They are also throwing in preferred viewing for Illuminations but we don't usually stick around for that anyway.
