Can "adult" child order off the kids menu?

Will my 10 year old be able to order off the kids menu at TS meals even though she is considered an adult? We are on the free dining plan. Thanks

Yes she can. Last week my 11 year old son did it many times. Good Luck.

Yes...my DD13 did a couple of times this past trip(just got home last night) as the adult menus did not appeal to her. At both places they made the portion a little larger since I was using an adult TS credit to pay for them.

Can't we also just pay OOP for these meals? DD10 will want to order off the kid's menu most times and the kid's meal will be plenty for her to eat. I don't want to use an adult TS credit for a regular size kid's meal.

If they allow it, we'll be able to throw in an extra TS along the way.

Yes....we have done this a couple of times as well.
But this past trip we were on the DxDDP and we did not need to ration our credits. Also being on the DxDDP the server still allowed my DD to pick an app and a dessert from the adult menu and just pick an entree from the kids menu.
If we had been on the Basic DDP I would have OOP the kids meals allowing us to stretch our TS credits.

Yes, we just did this in August. My DD is 14 and they had no problem with it. We were at Narcoossee's. There was nothing she wanted to order on the adult menu and I didn't want to waste 2 credits.

Great, thanks! I went though the menus with her yesterday and she said "yuck" to most of the adult entrees but enjoyed most of the kid entrees last year. Add to that a small appetite most of the time and a kid's TS entree will fit her well. We also found one place where she wants an appetizer for her a meal. We plan to just pay OOP for that, her drink and a dessert and save her credit.

We have also ordered appetizers for DD in the past and paid OOP. She and I also shared 2x this trip so we had enough credits for an extra meal. We did that at Sci Fi & Le Cellier. She ordered a shake at both places & she ate part of my entree and then dessert of course. LOL.
