More ticket questions!

We're intending to book reservations through the Disney US site for our wedding next year so that we can benefit from our AP discount. Guests who are coming over for the wedding do not have APs, but can still get a discount on accommodation through the wedding room block.

However, they have only been offered the option to purchase Magic Your Way tickets through the US site, rather than the Ultimate tickets which are available through the UK site.

My questions are:

  1. Can they buy the Ultimate tickets direct from UK Disney without purchasing any accommodation?
  2. Can they add (i.e. pay for) the Disney Dining Plan to their US accommodation booking without buying any admission tickets?
  3. Just to check my maths (!) - with a 14 night onsite stay, am I correct in assuming the Ultimate ticket is better value for UK guests than the MYW ones? (If it helps, guests are a party of 3 adults who will not be hiring a car and will park hop, use DisneyQuest and go to the water parks during their stay)

TIA for any advice:worship:

My questions are:

  1. Can they buy the Ultimate tickets direct from UK Disney without purchasing any accommodation? Yes - through disney UK or other reputable companies. You cannot buy them in the US, they have to be bought in the UK beforehand
  2. Can they add (i.e. pay for) the Disney Dining Plan to their US accommodation booking without buying any admission tickets? On the disney US site you only need to buy 1 days of park tickets to qualify for DDP for you entire stay (unlike the UK where you need tickets for everyday of your stay) so it maybe be cheaper to buy 1 magic your way ticket through disney US as part of a package and the rest of your tickets through disney uk
  3. Just to check my maths (!) - with a 14 night onsite stay, am I correct in assuming the Ultimate ticket is better value for UK guests than the MYW ones? (If it helps, guests are a party of 3 adults who will not be hiring a car and will park hop, use DisneyQuest and go to the water parks during their stay) I would have thought so, the only reason why I would suggest my guests to magic your way was if they were only planning on visiting the parks for a couple of days and didnt want to park hop

TIA for any advice:worship:
