Up early and took another look around the resort while having my coffee.
Arrived at Epcot by 9.15. Headed for Soarin for a fastpass before making our way over to Nemo (walk on) Turtle Talk with Crush which was fun, came out and had an ice cream which very quickly melted due to the heat, we had lunch in Sunshine Seasons before heading over to Soarin (front row this year). We came out and passed the soft drinks place so had to call in there for a free sample or 8. Tried them all, not keen on any!!!

It was very hot so made our way back to the resort by 1.30 and into the pool where we all played ball for a while and relaxed in the hot tub. I have never experienced not being able to walk on the ground as its too hot before but crikey, only had to take a couple of steps before regretting to have something on my feet, it really did hurt and we were ooh, aahing all the way to the water!
Not a pool view this time but John spotted this in the foliage around the pool.

Had to freshen up for our Hollywood & Vine fantasmic meal package booked for 5pm. We were seated pretty quickly right in the corner we spotted our server from a couple of years ago - Bill - he made quite an impression on us and he's still there!

Look, he's too hot and bothered to even hold the mister.

After we'd eaten we had plenty of time to pass as fantasmic wasn't showing till 9pm so we had a look around at what we wanted to ride on but the queues were just too long so just took in the atmosphere and looked in the shops. We had been given conflicting advice about the time to arrive for fantasmic varying from 30-45 mins before to at least 60 minutes before. Wasn't very happy having to 'waste' so much time, we have done this before but I don't like missing anything! We made our way to the queue and they were shouting out standing room only, John started to make a fuss about having tickets, I kept telling him they are not a guarantee and to shut up! We arrived at the entrance to the theatre and were guided over to the reserved seating where there were lots of seats left, thank goodness, happy hubby! We had what seemed like ages to wait but thanks to all those Brazilian tour groups we had the occasional Mexican wave which made everyone laugh. It soon passed, we watched the CM's going around the audience selling beers and water and also light up toys for the children, Illuminations started in the distance and then finally Fantasmic started.

We headed back for the bus, had a little while to wait during which we watched a distant storm with some terrific lightening. We were booked in for breakfast at Boma in the morning but decided to cancel it and then got talking to the young man at the check in desk about him coming over to London in the autumn. Finally got to bed, at least if I'm exhausted I will sleep through the creaking of the beds :d:

So, H&V must be a buffet dinner. Did they have a good selection of food and did you like it? (Glen looked like he was enjoying it!) We have never seen Fantasmic at WDW - only at DL. It looks like a huge audience there. It sounds like you were glad you did the Fantasmic dinner package and had reserved seating.

A very enjoyable day ~ we were lucky and got the front row on Soarin' the first time we rode it. On subsequent rides it was hilarious with people's feet dangling in front! :rotfl2:

Yes, its a buffet, works best for us suits all our varying tastes. We found it a very good selection to choose from, its the 2nd time we've been and would go again and Glen always likes food he's a teenage boy!!!!!!

Ah, we've done it the other way around, feet in front 1st visit, front row 2nd visit:rotfl:

We liked H+V the 2 times we have eaten there, even though I have seen some negative reviews on here about it. It suits all of our tastes and is good value I think.
Pleased you enjoyed Fantasmic - I think it is built very well and would say that there isn't really a bad seat in the house. Unless I got sat behind 2000 brazilian tourists - then I might change my mind ;)

great day and another long one.

Buffets never look that nice when they are piled up on plates, even if they taste lovely,:rotfl:

Another great day...boy you guys love your early mornings and late evening's don't you!

I'm not going all that way to rest you know :rotfl:

We seem blessed with lots of energy, we just made sure we stayed well hydrated and cooled off a lot in shops/restaurants/attractions etc. DH walks miles (postman) I never sit still except for looking at Disney forums, Glen runs around for hours playing football, its really only Ashley who lazes around and we don't allow him to in Florida (aren't we awful parents :rolleyes1)

We had great fun at Fantasmic also watching Brazilian and Argentinians competing to see who was the loudest :rolleyes1

Sounds like another great day. :)

We've never stayed to watch Fantasmic, something we will definately have to do next time. :)
