Travel insurance - AA

Hi

I am trying to get some travel insurance and the cheapest so far - that gives us the cover that we want - is the AA. They are ALOT cheaper than the other quotes we have been given. Does anyone have any experience of using them? Would you recommend them and use them again?

I have took there ins the last 2 years, as it was the best price i could get with med conditions covered.
had to make a claim this year, phoned them when we got home, and got Forms the next day, have sent them away about 8 days ago, so waiting for payment, which hopefully should be straightforward.

Hi, we're looking at travel insurance aswell. I just tried the AA and it came up as £492.67!! I think I've done something wrong!

Just realised, I thought they wanted the no of travellers, so I put 5, but I only needed to put 1 family!
Have to say, Atlas is cheaper, and we have used them before. Also claimed last year as dd was ill,, and they settled no probs, really quickly.

I used AA last year and £27 for me and my DD, for next year I got a quote for £30 for 3 weeks, I have never had to claim though.

we had to go with aa as they were the only ones who would cover my twin pregnancy and we fly next week, no problems with them so far

We used AA for our last 2 trips,very cheap for the cover we wanted .(also got a small discount as we have our home insurance with them as well ).x.

Just to update on AA insurance, i put the claim in as i said about 8 days ago, and i recieved cheque this morning .
will definetly use them as long as the price is good.

They want £123 with baggage, £99 without for annual for two adult

Will be sticking with Swift Cover, they want £62 with baggage, £56 without

The price seems good to me as we only want cover for a single trip.

It cost me £113 for family annual cover, and this was covering the wife with her medical history, so more than happy with the price.
Make sure you read any reviews on who you take it out with, as cheapest can sometimes add to problems ,especially if someone takes sick , as medical bills can soon mount up.
When you consider the price of your holiday , £123 for insurance is just a fraction of the cost, just make sure you have adequate cover.

£123 is more than 10% of our flight & accommodation costs

I have used Swift Cover many times before, at half the price of the AA their coverage is still excellent.
