Thank you.

Hi,

Our last two trips were in Jan 08 and then Feb 09.

From our experiences with the weather at this time of year, you really need to pack for all seasons. We had a couple of really chilly days, fleeces and jeans bearly kept us warm on the trams into the parks but then we also had really lovely warm days too where we were a bit too hot in our t-shirts and cropped trousers and could have done with shorts but even on these days it is still chilly first thing and again later on in the evening......

As I say, I think you'll have to pack for all weathers and hope for the best :goodvibes

we were there in January this year and it was FREEZING! Temperatures were about the same as in the UK, no more than about 13C during the day! Overnight it did actually freeze, something they aren't used to over there as they kept giving advice on the news about how to handle the cold.
On our last day, temperatures did rise, low twenties. Shame we had to leave

ive been in jan before and they had frost! I always take a jumper just incase

We were there in Jan last year and it was pretty cool the first few days so we needed hoodies, then it heated up and we could wear shorts. I would prepare for al weather. It's such a brill time to go, we are going back again next Jan :)

Thank you, going to feel strange packing jumpers etc as we have only been before in September.

I can't wait though as going for mine and DD birthday.

This will be our third January trip, and I would advise taking something for all weathers! We travelled out in our big coats and actually needed them one of the days that we went to universal - it was FREEZING! Also if you are at Sea World the stadiums really aren't built for cold weather - more to keep you cool, so the wind cuts right through them! :)
Have a lovely trip!

It can't be colder than DLRP in January though!! I hope!!

We were going to go DLRP however after looking at prices it was cheaper for us to go to WDW as we have DVC points.

Like others have said... clothes for all seasons! You may get one or two 'cold' days where you'll need coats, long trousers etc.. but most of the time it should be crops etc.. but you do need to be prepared for everything!!

.

Ignor me being the Grinch:scared1: but......This was us one day in Jan 2007 at Universal Islands of Adventure, note the gloves - I bought these at the park for $5 and they are the lovliest snuggly gloves I have ever owned. that is my Tresspass thermal jacket, and under it I have a hoody and a tee shirt! So yes it can be freezing!

I was there last Jan and the weather is very mixed so take everything! I never needed to wear a jacket/hat/gloves etc but we did see some Americans dressed like that :confused3

I would take a jacket or a blanket for you DD when watching Spectromagic or Fantasmic as it does get cool in the evening.

Just be prepared to change your plans and keep an eye on the weather, we had to move water park days around as there were a few colder days. But the good side is the parks are so quiet it doesnt matter :thumbsup2
