Beach Club -standard 11-15 to 11-20, 2adult 2 children. 5 day park pass, dining and airfare all for ....2735.00

My friends' husband said he got this price and booked the vacation after we had already booked through the Disney website with the discounted room offer.

I really find it hard to believe he got this price. He said it was because he has a Disney Visa. Is the Disney Visa having some kind of promotion I don't know about ?? Would love to hear if anyone got this kind of price.

I am waiting for him to email the confirmation to his wife so I can see. It would be awesome for them, but it doesn't sound right to me. It would mean they are paying about 255 for the room and getting free dining at the same time. Is that possible? (I am estimating that they got their air tran flights for 59 each way, which is available for their dates)

Well, this is what I figured:

Five day base ticket per child $207.68 * 2 = 415.36
Five day base ticket per adult $242.82 * 2 = 830.72
Ticket total: 1246.08 We *know* this. All prices with taxes.

This leaves 1488.92 for hotel, dining, and airfare

Your estimates give airfare for $472 which then leaves 1016.92 for hotel and dining. The current 35% off code gives the room only at $1523 (269/night).

So my question becomes, how did they get this rate? Was there a pin code? Someone post the other day they had a friend that said they got a pin code for both 40% off and free dining (one offer, no stacked discounts, just a great big huge discount--Disney can offer whatever they want). Now, while most of us are very suspicious of this, another poster said they received a pin that gave them the same thing. The numbers ran pretty right. Maybe it is possible there are a few of these pins floating around and that is what your friend got. Maybe. The other thing is, they screwed up somewhere and didn't actually book what they think they booked, like no dining, but that still doesn't make sense with the numbers you gave. Unless, of course, airfare is even lower than what you think.

Never mind... Her husband booked the Carribean Beach.... she is not happy! Sorry for the unnecessary post! I knew it was too good to be true.

And I want one of those pin codes.... 40% off and Free dining... no way. I want that!

Yeah, well, I'm not so sure how much I believe it, but if someone else was coming up with those numbers, I would be doing something to get that code!!

Is it one code or were you just able to stack 2 codes? Curious because I received both codes and wondered if I could stack them or was there a separate code? Thanks.

Trish

We got the code. 40 percent off plus free dinnig 3 weeks ago. :cool1:

OK, I hate you. What did you do to get that code??? That is the only time I'd do free dining. 40% off does us so much better than free dining, but if I could do both...

i am stay at cbr in sep and my trip for 2adult 2 kids was only around 1500 and 59 $ each way per person on southwest with dining and park tix 6 days thats sounds like a lot for cbr for what they are paying

Okay, I know this doesn't matter anymore but, what am I missing here regarding the ticket prices? When I do the math on the tickets I get 901.00 total for tickets, 415.36 for the kids and 485.64 for the 2 adult 5 day base tickets. Where did the 830.72, leading to 1246.08, come from? Nobody else pointed this out when at first figuring out her deal so I'm wondering if I'm just missing something or reading something wrong, and though it doesn't matter, I'm confused and really curious now if I'm just reading wrong or what, lol!

Apparently I hit a wrong number on my calculator and didn't catch it. You are correct. I'm always multitasking on here and I don't always double check my math if there is no direct bearing on my vacation. I do my best, but sometimes I'm just in too much of a hurry and if it doesn't affect my bottom line numbers, well, I'm lazy.

FOR REAL?! WOW!!! There are threads all over the Disboards saying you can't combine the two. How did the code come to you - email or mail?

You cannot combine two discounts. This is one discount that includes two things.

Also curious about the 40% and free dining. Anyone that got it, can you tell me how you got it, as in postal, email, etc. What dates is it good for? Any other details, thanks!
