Favour request for anyone going soon?

Quick favour request for Buttercup1982 or anyone else going in the next couple of weeks (just realised from other posts that you're there now Smallworld!!)

My sisters bestfriend visited DLRP earlier this year and wanted to buy something from the christmas shop in the castle. However after ushering her kids out of the shop she never got chance to go back and buy anything.

My sister has decided that as I'm going at the end of Sept she'd like me get something for her to give her friend at christmas as a suprise.

I've no idea what her friend was thinking getting and was just about to tell my sister that it would probably cost her at least £10/10euros when she informed me she wanted something small with DLRP on but not tacky and about a fiver or less

So if anyone gets the chance to go into the christmas shop could you see what the cheapest thing is in there plus the approx cost of say a bauble with DLRP on it please.

Christmas Baubles are usually 5-6 each euros in DLRP.

I got a lovely Tinkerbell figure dressed in gold to go on my tree for 5.90 euro and a fab Mickey head in gold that jingle's for 4.90 euro. Thought they were pretty reasonable! Just want to put my tree up now!!

Forgot to say though mine dont have DLP on, just on the tages with the price

Think sis will be quite happy with just having DLRP on the tags. Can see me coming back with a bag full of jingly Mickey heads for my tree as well

I managed to get hold of a bauble with 2008 on last year, but actually didn't buy it on our trip in Sept as I didn't see any, someone on this Board kindly brought one back for me a bit later in the year.

Really hoping to get one with 2009 on this trip but in August I'm really not sure. Anyone seen one so far this year on their trips? Or is it a later in the year thing when they come out?

Not wanting to hijack this thread, but does anyone know if you can get things mail order from this shop? Both my son and daughter have tree baubles they bought first time they ever went. Last Christmas, my son dropped his when dressing the tree and broke it. My intention was to get a replacement when we were there in July, but it went clean out of my head

I know exactly what I am looking for, so perhaps they would send it?

Yes they do have a mail order dept. The email address is dlp.mail.order@disney.com Just email them the details of the item and where you want it sent to and they will email you back the price plus postage costs

I know others on here have used the service and it's taken ages (months!!) for the items to arrive (can't remember the user id - one of the ladies in Italy I think, Guily09 or something close to that, sorry) not sure if they charge high rates for P & P as well.

Are you in the UK? We're going in September so it may be cheaper for me to get it for you and then post it when I get back? Just PM me if you want me to get it

It's a girls only trip, we'll have cash in our pockets and a shareholders card - if anyone needs to find us we're in the shops
