Hiya

Thought I would start our pre-trip report. 3 weeks to go!:cool1:

Hopefully this mean that I WON'T tinker with my ADR's anymore. DH has lost the plot totally as I have booked, cancelled and re-booked using the new online ADR - a blessing and a curse! :yay:

Introductions :

ME: 39, (and swiftly moving along to the big 40 ahem :scared1:) . Planner and organiser of all things disney.

DH: 46, (jeez I'm married to an old fella :lmao:) bring on the food! loves the rides.

DD: 12, ( 'are we going to any Malls?' ) fashionista and loves all things 'dude-y' ( i have no idea what that means) adores stitch and princesses

DD: 7, ( 'I want to buy it!' ) also enjoys spending money, mainly on tiny little figures and things called 'puppy in my pocket' etc, yep we have the full range!
loves Eeyore the best, but any cuddly character will do.

We have 2 full weeks staying at Old Ket West on the FREE disney dining plan.

You may wonder at the title? Well we all love cinnamon rolls and tend to start off the day with one. Want to know what I am talking about? well I cooked up a batch earlier and here they are.

Help yourself!

YEP I have a plan, ( on excel:rolleyes1) I will share this with you all later. Also those lovely ADR's! DH is amazed that I know roughly what I will be eating and when :lmao: but as i say, you have to ensure that you get value for money - especially when it's FREE

Monday 24th august 2009

Take the doggie to the kennels, pop a 14 day feeder in the fish tank and release the rabbits into 'the wild' - okay maybe not. some kind person will be looking after them. Do online check-in.

Drive down to Gatwick, without arguing or getting lost! Should take about 3 hrs. Check into our overnight hotel Holiday Inn , not stayed here before, hopefully we will get a good nights sleep as we will not be excited, no siree, not one bit ;)

Tuesday 25th August 2009

drop off cases and browse the shops, maybe purchase some perfume and make-up items. Have breakfast, which I am sure will amount to a 2nd mortgage ! Still won't be very excited and definately won't be jumping up and down with happiness! :rolleyes1

hop onboard our Virgin flight at 11:15 am, chill, watch movies yadda, yadda etc.

Arrive around 15:25 pm and have no trouble at all in being reunited with our cases and mosey on down to disney's Magical Express to be whisked to disney's Old Key West. Check-in and have a nosey around the resort.

Joining in!!! Your plans look great and its always nice to finally have those dollars isn't it?

We did the California Grill this summer and it was one of my favourite places to eat. You will love the views.

If you have kids I would highly recommend the Crisped Rice Sushi Plate for desserts. The best thought out dessert I have ever seen. I wanted one but thought I was a bit old!!!!

In true holiday mode -I made this for dessert - it's The chocolate Wave at coral reef
