Need some recommendations for a table service dinner for the day we go to Magic Kingdom. We won't have park hoppers, so Dinner would either need to be at the MK, DTD, or one of the resorts.

These are the ADR's that I hope to be able to get.

Saturday Oct 31st: Ohana after day at Animal Kingdom
Sunday Nov 1st: Mama Melrose while at HS
Monday Nov 2nd: ?? MK day (Hopefully will be EMH evening)
Tuesday Nov 3rd: LeCellier (Epcot Day)

We have done Whispering Canyon before, and really enjoyed it, but would like to try something different. Not quite sure what to pick. I've looked over and over the menu's. Just two many to choose from. So I thought I would turn to you guys for recommendations.

TIA!!!

Kona, The Wave, maybe do O'Hana the 2nd and do something different the 31st like Boma. Who's all going? Would you want a character meal? Dining plan or paying OOP?

I do not like the TS choices at the MK except for the Plaza and it is just burgers, sandwiches and ice cream so I would definitely try the resorts...

I like Kona Cafe and The Wave and for Signatures I would recommend California Grill or Narcoossee's

I hope this helps!

MK
CP- Buffet
Tony's-Italian
LTT- mini Thanksgiving meal

CR

I'm hoping to get Ohana on the 31st to see the MNSSHP fireworks. Slim chance, but I'll give it a shot.

Its just DH, DD (9) and myself going. Daughter isn't really into the character meals...we did Chef Mickey our last visit 4 years ago. She enjoyed it then, but DH didn't like how loud it was.

We are doing the Dining Plan. We did Boma on our last visit as well, I'll check out the menus for Kona and the Wave again.

Thanks.

I didn't think the TS choices in MK looked that great either, I haven't actually tried them, so I didn't know if I was over looking a diamond in the rough. Glad to get more confirmations on that.

I see most of you have suggest Kona....I really need to give that one a second look. :thumbsup2

I would suggest that you switch and do Ohana on your MK day. It is so easy to take the monorail there. Maybe plan something else for your AK day, maybe DTD since the parks close early (unless this is a EMH night). :)

We just did Crystal Palace last week and it was VERY GOOD. Its buffet.. character dinner with Pooh and Friends.

Nthing Kona. Nothing spectacular, but a solid meal, and any excuse to cruise the Polynesian is all right by me.

For convenience, Plaza is great. It's simple, mostly sandwiches and stuff, but they're all quite good and the ice cream is to die for. You shouldn't have too much difficulty getting an ADR for that, either, which is a plus.
