Wow - what a fantastic and yummy looking place...an excellent find!
And I must say DLRP Fantasyland is so pretty - the MK could use just a bit of that here.
WOW-Super Wow...Those pictures are so lovely-I looked at them three times...I wish I was there right now......
I love the facade of that palace...and that cafe has so much charm...and those desserts look amazing... I think that you are being generous w/ the comparison to Main Street Bakery-the things in there look good-but not as good as those cakes in that cafe...
I'll bet the coffee was good there too...
Thanks for your mini TR to Köpenick! The pics are lovely. It is so interesting that they had half pieces; what a great idea! I would always order two half pieces so I could try more!
The bakery looks absolutely charming, and the cakes delicious!
I want to try one of those white cakes in the jars!
What a great place!!! All of those cakes look soooo good! I got hungry just looking at them!
What a beautiful place!
And the desserts, even beauti-fuller!!
That little bakery is so cute!! I love the sugar bowl.
I think your cake sounds DELISH...yummmm!
How was the coffee there? Nothing beats coffee with dessert.
Hi! I just found your PTR.
It caught my eye for 2 reasons, 1, a "sister" trip and 2, my brother lives in Bad Windsheim, Ickelheim, so your Nuremburg note in your location caught my eye!
How lovely to plan a trip with your sister. As a sister myself, there is nothing better than a "sista" trip as we call it. We are still hoping, someday, to do one to WDW.
I Teva Mush (have a pair)
and Keens! (have 2. should have 3 but one is mia)
I have not seen the canvas tennis shoe version before though, those are absolutely adorable!
Bring layers, at that time of year you can have swings from 50-80F! We did.
Loving the report so far. When we visit my brother, likely 2011, I hope to hit DLRP (though am keeping that idea from DH for now lol)
Oh my. Those cakes look so yummy. I am super hungry now!
Oh my goodness - you do know you are torturing me now, right? A German bakery??? YUM!! I love the quaintness of it all and what a neat find!
Heather
Wow. Look at those cakes! Drool..........
Thanks for posting. Looks like it was a fun day!!
Today it is exactly 6 months until we arrive at WDW (don't know why the ticker says differently )!!
In order to be fully prepared I put together a list of films we might want to see before our trip! Some of those we might have seen already, but I tried to put together a comprehensive list as we might want to refresh our memory on the one or the other film. K and I are both customers of a local video store which has an incredible library of films. They started out with VHS tapes in original languages (mainly English) as nearly every film in Germany is dubbed into German. Of course today with DVDs you normally have different languages available, so it is no longer difficult to get to see the original. However, they kept their concept of a film library and you can get nearly everything that exists on DVD. So the list in our wiki only has those films that are available there. The ones that I did not find there were Beauty and the Beast and Swiss Family Robinson, but otherwise that's what we can see before our trip:
Magic Kingdom
- Cinderella
- Snow White
- Sleping Beauty
- Alice in Wonderland
- Peter Pan
- The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
- Aladdin
- The Little Mermaid
- Dumbo
- Pete's Dragon
- The Sword in the Stone
- Lilo & Stitch
- Monsters, Inc.
Disney's Holywood Studios
- Donald Short Films
- Mickey Mouse Short Films
- Pluto Short Films
- Silly Symphonies
- Mary Poppins
- Toy Story

Epcot
- Three Caballeros
- Finding Nemo
- Apollo 13
