The wedding was nice..
I want to thank Buffy and Holly for helping me out close to the beginning of the wedding when I was about to go off on a cousin... OMG! She is a piece of work..
Have some issues I am disappointed in...but it is what it is..and I can make sure that my DD doesn't make those same mistakes.. For instance, my mom, my DD nor myself we allowed in the room to help my sister get ready.. we were not extended an invitation.. My mom wasn't even there to see her baby get ready.. PJ is hurt but she says it's ok.. me not so much.. I'm hurt...but it is what it is...
I'm also very proud of my Dad.. he was a trooper... he hates to show affection or give his DDs away.. so this was really stressful on him...
Mom was mom...
My brother did show up for the wedding at least..
Saw and spoke w/ several of my cousins.. the 2nd cousins had fun dancing w/ one another..
I'm just really glad to be home and this stress level behind me!!!

OH and the groomsmen and bridesmaids were very good to PJ... I was worried...but she said they were very nice to her and since she couldn't drink..they had the limo driver stop to buy her a soda on the 30 minute limo ride between the church and the reception.. Yes, 30 mins they drove around town... PJ said several of the guys made it fun for her...

Little guy was ring bearer and did great.. the cousin who was ready to be knocked out had karma come bite her in the backside as her DD the flower girl had a meltdown.. poor Bear...
DS13 sit w/ us and was thrilled not to have to deal w/ the non sense..but he was very supportive of his siblings....
DH was even good about things although he knew when I txted you and Holly it was going bad quickly and someone need to talk me down.. he knew it was bad and told DS13someone is going to be hurt...

PJ wants to use the dress for homecoming..but she was also given 3 prom dresses by my cousin, her 2nd cousin all we have to do is drive down and get them... Aunt paid full price for the last one of 450.00! Who am I to pass up a free 450.00 dress for the cost of gas to drive down there.. 10.00! LOL Heck, I just saved $440.00!!!

Welcome home! Glad to help. It's the least I can do. Look at all you've been helping me with! Sorry about the drama, but i've found that there is ALWAYS drama when it comes to family stuff. (well my family, anyway!!!)

Can't have a wedding without family drama - we've got the tiniest family and there were still problems (I told DH it was his fault as his family ) Three dresses for a tank of gas - what's not to like?? ONE of them will be perfect for a TTD shoot, whichever you like least I would LOVE to do one of those with DNiece but she's not big on dresses (she was the worst bridesmaid for our friend - broke her flower wand before she even got up the aisle so was just holding a stick with a ribbon and changed into what my DSis had brought along for the evening - just in case she poured something all over herself - before the photos were finished).
Glad you're back and in one piece!

Her other 4 bridesmaids got her ready.... she didn't ask my mom nor my DD who was the other bridesmaid to be there.. I'm so sad... more for my mom..
I told DH last night...even though his mom is a pita I was still expecting PJ to have her there too.... PJ piped in you won't be.. I said oh yes I will if DH and I are paying for it as for as I'm concerned DH will be there to help you get ready! LOL She just laughed!!!

You know, I'm sure between my sis and my cousin there is a TTD photo dress!!! I especially would like to find one to do that too.... I also will take the free dresses as her older 3 girls got my prom dresses....except they went and sold them and took the money! Yup! (even my kids' baby clothes I gave them when they were expecting...they sold at a yard sale and kept the money.... when I had DS8 I got a big bag of my clothes back..w/ sales prices on them!.. I cried for hours... and I told DH never again would I give my cousins anything that could be sold)...
PJ stayed in her dress all night... she was a trooper! Especially b/c the shoes were brand new b/c sis wouldn't give them to her early to stretch them out a bit.. We did bring her socks for the reception!

Trash The Dress..
The girls dress up in their nice dresses and trash them.. in water, in mud and anything else and do a photo shoot! I know we are definitely doing this w/ PJ's senior photo shoot!
