What's good at SciFi besides burgers?

We have ressies for lunch at SciFi, and everyone says to stick to burgers and shakes, but what else is good?

Has anyone tried the "Beef and Blue Salad"?

I loved the shrimp pasta - was an unexpected surprise given all the posts saying that the only good things on the menu are burgers, onion rings and ice cream.

We are going for our first time in August and I am also curious to know. I am not really into hamburgers, but everybody in our group wants to try the Sci-Fi even if it's just for milkshakes!

I had the beef and bleu salad and didn't love it. I wasn't a fan of the dressing on it (and I love bleu cheese!). The onion rings and milkshake were great though.

DW always has the turkey club and enjoys it. (she's very paticular about deli meat)

Also we always like the chips and spinach dip.

We usually go for a lite meal / drinks in the afternoon to get out of the heat for awhile.

We love the milkshakes and they make an awesome melon salad that I got a recipe card from our CM. A lot of times I just get some off the App. list and my husband gets the reuben

I love the Reuben and onion rings.

Dh and I are light lunch eaters and that is more than enough for the two of us to share.

We really liked our milkshakes! Strawberry and chocolate! YUM!

We had burgers primarily (I had veggie) but my mom had the chili and really liked it. In fact, she talked about it again days later she liked it so much.

We love the Sci-Fi

I had the beef and blue salad and thought it was very good. Just note that you're not getting fancy greens or anything - it's a lettuce wedge. But the steak was cooked just as ordered and the wedge was fresh and crisp. I liked it and would order it again.

Milkshakes are a must - delicious!

When we went I had the shrimp pasta, it wasn't that bad, but not great. I like a pasta dish with a bit more sauce and it was a bit dry for me. My husband had the chicken sand and LOVED it.
To me it depends on what you are going to be eating at the next meal or the next day. We were going to HoopDeeDo the next night so I knew there were going to be ribs there, which is why I went with something other than the ribs which looked great. The shrimp pasta was something a bit different.
And I can get a burger at a counter service meal...so go with something different.

Thanks for all the great advice! I will definitely have to try their milkshakes. I think my daughter and I will probably share a meal, since we plan on going to Epcot that evening and eating around the world.

Although, I still want to try their beef and blue.....:confused3 decisions, decisions...

Did you really like the melon & cucumber salad? :confused3 I was really disappointed in it and thought it needed some zip - maybe some fresh lemon zest or some chopped mint. I thought it was really, really bland and doused it with pepper to make it more flavorful.

I had the Beef and Bleu Salad in January (and I plan to have it next Wednesday night, too:yay:). My 2yo son ate a good portion of it, too. When we are back next week, I plan to get the shrimp pasta for him (he is still not old enough for the dining plan and my older son - who doesn't eat "real" food is a Disney adult. Guess which kid is ordering the kids' meal) as he loves both shrimp and pasta.

Happy decision making! I just wanted to speak up for the salad because I really enjoyed it!

We have tried the ribs twice and once they were GREAT and the other time dry and tough. So, those can be hit or miss.

Ribs are usually very good. Reuben has been great in the past.

Milkshakes are excellent.
