Different "sections" at Kidani

Hi all, we will be flying out tomorrow early a.m. for a stay at Kidani. I was hoping someone could show me a map/layout of the resort THAT INCLUDES the different named sections (Rafiki, Timon, etc.). I've seen maps showing the layout of the bead theme and maps that have room numbers on them, but I don't think I recall seeing the named sections.

I was there last month. I know the section we stayed in was Timon. If you look at a map of the resort, it looks like 2 semi-circles. On the right circle, from the lobby to the bottom center of the circle is Timon. From the center to the far end is Zazu. Not sure about the other side.

Like Debbie said, the right side of the lobby has Timon and Zazu. The elevators are named so you'll remember which section you parked. On the other side, Rafiki is closer to the lobby. Not sure what the name of the elevator further away from the lobby on that side because it's not open yet. We have stayed at both the Zazu (Rm. 7456) and the Rafiki (Rm. 7618) sections and we prefer the Rafiki section. Those on our end of the Zazu section were all savanna views, there were no rooms across the hall.

Interesting... I didn't even know there were names for different sections!

On a side note, does anyone know when the entire resort is scheduled to be open, including the savanna by the pool?

We stayed in the north wing which is to the left of the lobby when looking at the building from the parking lot side. The Rafiki elevator is at the far end of the 2nd bead from the lobby.

The rest of Kidani is supposed to open in September, including the new Pembe Savanna. People have posted here that it will open Sep 1st but I haven't seen anything official that says anything more specific than just "September".
