Ripstiks at Hilton Head?

We're planning a family reunion at HHI and my DBIL asked a question I couldn't answer. DNiece wants to bring her Ripstik to the resort. Does anyone know if they're okay to ride in the resort? Is there anywhere around there that would be a good place to ride them?

Sure, they should bring it but I don't think it would be allowed out on the dock.

Yes, they are allowed. Several kids had them while we were there. Also, my Nephew had brought his skate board and we specifically asked and here is what the life guards said

"You can ride your skate board all you want.... Just don't crash and burn because I am the one who will have to come and scrape you off the side walk"...

That's great! They're driving down and may not have room in the car, but I bet my niece will find room if she has to!
