Ugh, it's raining AGAIN! Holy moly, enough already! Lisa, I think your storms just arrived here, it's thundering and lightning like mad now. I hate it!

Morgan and I have chores to do today, laundry, vacuuming, and crafting. So, I guess it's okay that it's raining again...Might as well be stuck inside since we have to do the crap anyway.

Had a horrible horrible headache yesterday, I think it was Ann's jumping from Ohio to here ;). Or, the barometric pressure from the coming storm. Oh well, I feel much better this morning. That 12 hours of sleep helped too :rotfl:

DIT, good luck keeping those "other" items from hopping into your carriage, they always seem to find their way into mine!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning

I am on antibotics after going to the doctor yesterday- an upper respatory infection

Taking it slow due to being sick so today:
pm everyone my address for swaps
work on swaps- a little as I feel up to it
dinner- sausage and rice (actually I will be guiding my brother and husband through making)
send dh to PO- checks and some swap stuff

Rebecca

I let the kitty out of his cage/crate today. He however does not want to leave the garage area. His sister hissed at him when he went near her this morning. Not sure what that was all about. I'm leaving the door up so he can stay inside or go out as he chooses.

Post office run is done - joyah your jam is on its way. :thumbsup2 Sent it Priority, was only a little more and will get there sooner.

Cleaning and other icky stuff to finish up.
Get food ready for the grill.

Rebecca - hope you feel better soon. You don't have flu symptoms too, do you with the respiratory stuff?

Rebecca - hope you feel better soon. You don't have flu symptoms too, do you with the respiratory stuff?

I had flu-like symptoms Thursday through Sunday morning and then it changed oiver to more cold-like symptoms. Since it hadn't gone away I went to the doctor yesterday and they told me it was a respiratory infection.

Rebecca

The new Type A H1N1 formerly known as swine flu is in your area.
Per the CDC: http://www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu/guidance_homecare.htm
When to Seek Emergency Medical Care
Get medical care right away if the sick person at home:

has difficulty breathing or chest pain
has purple or blue discoloration of the lips
is vomiting and unable to keep liquids down
has signs of dehydration such as dizziness when standing, absence of urination, or in infants, a lack of tears when they cry
has seizures (for example, uncontrolled convulsions)
is less responsive than normal or becomes confused

This flu has shown a tendency to have relapse. So even if you start to feel better, don't over due it. Easier said then done with all your responsibilities, but try to teak it easy anyway.

The only symptom of H1N1 I have had is difficulty breathing and that is because of my lungs filling up with flem (it only happens when I lay down flat). I haven't had any of those symptoms- just a high fever and generally acheness and tiredness on Thursday - Saturday and a sore throat, bad chest cough and stuffy yet running sinuses since then. I do plan on continueing to take it easy- I have been crazy busy since the revival started in midMay- but after next Tuesday we have nothing else for the summer (except a couple of 2-3 hour events).

Since midMay we had the 2 week nightly revival, our vacation (very nice and relaxing), annual conference, my parent's visit, a wedding, and a big girls event at the church, next Monday and Tuesday are Bible school and then I am done with everything. I think part of this is my body saying I have got to slow down. I am going to try and space things out next summer.

Rebecca

Expect more, we had another round this afternoon.:scared1: One hit was so loud and close I thought it hit the pool

Oh, it is going to be a long summer for you if the grumpies continue.:scared1:

Lisa my saving grace is Levi starts summer school next week and so it will be back on a semi school schedule ( and they are NOT going to like it), but I can't take it. I know the weather isn't helping either, it has to give and soon.

rebecca hope you feel better soon that same bug is up here took me weeks to get rid of it and DH's 95 yr old grandmother has it now too.
