Has anyone ever heard of these before ?? I heard about them once on the boards & saw them in the parks. They are ADORABLE 3" mickey figurines that u can collect that represent the parks & cruise line. Problem is there's 12 in a series & when u purchase them, you don't know which one you're getting.

I'm addicted. I already purchased 5 ( & they're only $9.95). one of mine is a duplicate.

@ was wondering if anyone else had a duplicate I didn't have & of we could possibly trade! Mine duplicate is the brown & tan snow white mickey. Please let me know. You can PM me or e-mail me at stacy.debruyne@gmail.com

Why are they selling them that way? When I am paying with my hard earned money I want to know what I am paying for and that it's something I want. Being surprised isn't going to cut it. I won't be buying these.

I had never heard of these until I read your thread. So, I searched the internet. They are sooooooo cute! I have to get one at WDW next week. DS3 loves the Green Aliens from Toy Story. I have to find this one ...

From what I read, it sounds like the surprise pins you can get. Is that true? You don't know which one you get until you purchase it?

We just got back from WDW and I had to buy a couple of Vinylmation figures. I didn't get the one we wanted. But, that's the chance you take when buying these.

I got the Dalmation and Ariel/Flounder (He's on the other side.):

I didn't realize until we came home and DS9 pointed it out, the Dalmation is the "secret" character for that series. At first I was going to try and trade them away for a Toy Story Green Alien. However, I think we'll keep what we have for now. DH said I can get a couple more on our trip this fall.

I can't wait!

It's traditional to the type of toy it is... most notibly, alike to kidrobot. It's really fun not knowing what it is....

You don't need to be such a grouch about it, if you don't like it- don't get it!

$10 isn't a lot to me, especially when these toys are more than that... and I DON'T make a lot of money.

can you get them at all wdw gift stores, or just 'selected' locations?

On our recent trip to WDW, I found them at the World of Disney and Once Upon a Toy in Downtown Disney. Personally, I never saw them in the regular park and resort gift shops. Then again, I could have overlooked them too. With the three kids pulling me in three different directions, I didn't get much time to browse.

We saw them last week and I purposely didn't go near them for fear I would like them a bit too much!

Where did you see them? They are very tempting. I went in to get one and came out with two.

We got super lucky our first try. We ended up with the HM one:

While looking online, it appears they have a lot of new ones. There was no mermaid or dalmatian while we were there in February. The one's they had were much more abstract - if that makes sense.

Okay, this is one of those threads I wish I had never read!! Wasn't concerned about souviner purchases when we go in August because I'm not into all the Disney memorbilla, but oh my, those vinylmations are tooo cute.
And I can see how they'll be addicting for me.

Definitely have to have one or two, well maybe three.....think I can sneak four without my husband thinking I've gone insane.

They also sell them at the gift shops in the Contemporary. That's where we saw them first.

I went crazy in February and got 27 of them!! But got two full sets out of it luckily!! THey are really cute! Excited to see another set out for our next trip in two weeks! There is also supossed to be a cast member edition.
oh-and the pins are cute too! My son was so happy when he got the Yeti pin!

you do realize you can just buy a tray which automatically yields you 2 complete sets and the mystery chaser right? (I suspect you did buy a whole box). that's not random. only if you buy individual ones.
