Has anyone ever done this to their kitchen? I want to make a backsplash (kinda- looking anway) for my kitchen, and have heard of peel and stick wall 'tiles'. Has anyone ever done this?? I'm looking for a cheap kit... any leads would be great!!!

Not ceramic or glass tiles. Trust me, they would be too heavy to stay on the wall in a damp kitchen; they would start dropping off after a while. Normal tile mastic is very heavy-duty stuff, you don't pry it off without a chisel.

You might be able to do it with hollow metal tiles.

I think the LTD catalog had some, they were apples or chickens if I remember correctly, they were in their last book...

LTD also had some that looked like tin-type tiles. One of my co-workers ordered it and loves it. I haven't seen it. They also have them at Home Depot and Lowes but they are a little more expensive.

I'm sorry, what does LTD stand for? I am thinking about doing somelike this in my kitchen and looking for anything as inexpensive and easy to do myself.

We did the vinyl tiles that looked like tin. It was really easy to do, and looked great! We got ours at Menards, but I know you can get them at the other box stores, I think our whole backsplash cost us about $120. We loved it!
