Cinderella's Royal Table Not avail. 90 days out? Why?

Today was my first day to be able to book reservations for our stay towards the end of September. The first day and I called when it opened and was told it was full for our entire stay because people there ahead of us by 10 days could already book it? What the heck is that? Can anyone explain this process? I'm very disappointed!

Disney resort guests are allowed to book starting on their 90th day, + 10 days extended out, which usually covers most of the stay.

I assume this would account for that.

I was able to get it on my 90th day for Sept. 15 (our trip is 9/12 - 9/22) at 8:05.

Can I assume you were trying to book for 9/28 or 9/29 for breakfast? This has been discussed on a couple of other threads. It was booked those days for a private event both mornings. Lunch is open, but NO breakfast those days.

People have guessed that it might be a Make a Wish event, which everyone concurs would be a great thing. But that's SHEER conjecture. If it's anything else, I still contend it's a HUGE disappointment for people who have waited MONTHS to schedule their special breakfast on those days.

To the OP - YOU could also book with a 10 day advantage if you're staying on-site. So if today (or yesterday or whatever) was 90 days out from the start of your trip, and if you're staying more than a few days -- try booking CRT for a day close to the end of your trip. Visitors arriving before you would not yet have had the chance to book those dates using the 90+10 advantage.

If you're off-site, then I would just call back a few times before your trip and see if anything opened up (unless it's the dates mentioned above when there are no reservations available for anyone).

I am OP. We are staying on property so the 90+10 day rule applied to us and there is nothing the week of 9-21 thru 9-26:(

Last year, we went in the middle of September and maybe that isn't as booked versus the end of the month? Oh well, at least we got to do it once:) I was really hoping to see my little girl light up again and my sister is going with us too and she hasn't done it and I thought it would be a magical suprise for her and the fact she is having a BIG birthday.

I would try again. When the online booking comes back up, try there. While I was playing around with possible dates and times, I was able to get plenty of times for CRT for my week 9/22-9/28. Though I was checking dinner times, I'm not sure if breakfast is busier because of the princesses.

Cinderella's Royal Table is one of a few restaurants that still takes reservations at 180 days out. Chef Mickey's does as well. I am sure this is why you experienced this problem. I'd suggest calling a few more times before your trip to see if anyone cancelled or if something opened up.

That is incorrect. ALL restaurants are 90 days out now. Chef Mickey's, CRT and Victoria & Albert's had an exception window that was longer from December - March, but they have also been 90 days out since around mid-March.

OP: Keep trying. And when the online system comes back up, look around there too.

I'm sure that it's breakfast or lunch that you want. Dinner is cool, but if you've never been, I'm sure you want to see the princesses, and they aren't there at dinner.

Keep in mind that even if you didn't plan on breakfast on the 28th or 29th when it is closed for the private event, all the people who WANTED those days have shifted to other days during their trips, still making it hard to get ADR's in the days right before and after those days.

CRT is a CC guarantee site, so people cancel ALL the time. Check several times a day and you WILL get it.

im sorry you werent able to get your ADR at CRT but i would keep trying online! i was able to get an ADR for a dinner there a couple days ago and i'm 58 days out! u never know! its worth a try!

CRT and Chef Mickey's converted to 90 day reservations in March - three months after all the other restaurants did - but they are 90 day reservations now.

There are two days in that time period where breakfast at CRT is apparently not available because the restuaurant is booked for a private party. That means nobody can book for those dates and they're trying to book other dates. Try for lunch also, and keep checking.

Onsite guests may book up to 10 days worth of reservations at the 90 day mark of the first day of their reservation. CRT is not large, and if you were trying for breakfast there is the private party going on that week. It's possible that other guests who were able to book the 10 days following their first day for staying onsite filled up all the available slots. It's often suggested that onsite guests try to book popular ADRs toward the end of their stay to get full advantage from the +10 booking.

OP-we are going the same days actually, 9/21-9/27. We were able to get 2 reservations on the morning of the 26th, I made one not realizing my travel agent would also. Anyway, I cancelled the one a couple hours later when I realized I had two. But yes, I couldn't breakfast any earlier in the week than the 26th. They did have some lunches open earlier in the week. But I would keep trying to check either online or by phone, people cancel or switch. I was able to get the Tusker house this morning when yesterday was told it was all booked. Good luck!

Anyone subscribed to this thread will want to know they JUST opened times for breakfast at CRT 9/28 and 9/29. Either they cancelled the private event, or someone REALLY messed up.

I'd be kind of hacked off if that was my day, I called in 90 days out (or 90 + 10) then gave up only to find out they were loaded in later and I missed out!

We've always wanted lunch, and got that, but just followed the story with curiosity.

Have a happy ADR feeding frenzy! Say hi to me in line for early entry (for BBB) on 9/28! My daughter will be in a Cinderella gown and wearing a birtday button!

And September 25 is open, it wasn't open at all for breakfast until today.

Also they do not release all tables at one time. The hold some tables and realease them at exactly 90 days out for that day. So continue to call, you might get lucky.

Just keep trying. We planned a very last minute trip (as in decided to go one Sunday and left to start our vacation the next Sunday) a few weeks ago and I just kept calling a couple of times every day and finally got a breakfast ressie at CRT a couple of days before we left. I'm not sure who was happier for that bit of Pixie Dust, me or the dining CM. LOL!
