Tut-Tut, it Looks Like Rain! May '09 Trip Report. *Finished! 9/27 Pg. 69.

Love the cream cheese mashed potatoes! They were so delicious! Sorry that your feet hurt so bad. It really puts a damper on things when each step is filled with blistery pain. I hope you get a good rest and are ready to go again soon. I love your updates and your pics!

OH I am so jealous that I had to forgo my Le Cellier ADR when we switched our dates!!!! :headache::headache: Next trip!

My my! That meal looks AMAZING!!!!!!!! I am so glad you DID take pics, now I know what it looks like!

I really hope you had a better evening.... Even a good sleep will do wonders! :flower3:

Great update! I'm so glad you made it into Le Cellier, that food looks so familiar....isn't it tasty?
Did you dip your bread in the soup? I either dip mine or smother it in the butter balls.
Gosh I feel bad about your feet.......:sad2:
It is so tasty! Everything there that I have had is super yummy. Yes, I did dip the bread into the soup but I think I preferred it smothered in butter balls. :rotfl:

Yummy, I love Le Cellier! Love cheese soup, pretzel bread, and filet. I have never tried the moose dessert, I will have to add that to my list of must do's if nothing else because it is just so darn cute.

I am so sad that your feet were hurting so bad. I hope they got better. :sad1:
The moose dessert is the best thing in my opinion. So good!

You tease!!! I don't recall you updating us on Twitter that you actually got INto Le Cellier!!! ;):lmao:

I'm so sorry that you are in feet pain. The first time Randy and I went to Disney- I didn't walk ahead of time to get into "Disney shape" and I was miserable. I was popping Aleve like candy and it didn't touch the pain. I have now learned to buy better shoes and do plenty of walking.
I couldn't give EVERYTHING away on Twitter!
My legs didn't hurt, I think most of my feet pain were from the blisters and then walking on them in a way that made the rest of my body hurt...if that makes sense. If I hadn't had the blisters I think I would have been just fine. I don't think I will be wearing Crocs as my fulltime shoe again in Disney.

I am back from WDW and I am all caught up on your report. Let's see if I can remember what I wanted to comment on:
1.I think the manatees are really cool too!:thumbsup2
2.I am so glad that Le Cellier worked out! I hate being late for anything so I can imagine how you felt.:sad2:
3.I think it is so cool that you and Jen found "forever" friendships.:goodvibes
4.I also really liked how the celebrate signs incorporated the symbol for each park. My DH noticed that each park had a different color.:)
5.I hope that your feet feel better during your trip. I know that when your feet hurt at Disney it is hard to enjoy anything.

I am thinking of starting a trip report. We had a really good time and we took a lot of pictures. I will let you know if I do!:thumbsup2
I hope you do start a trip report, post the link over here if you do!
I didn't notice that they were different colors, that is a good spot by your DH! Foot pain in Disney is the worst. :headache:

When I was a kid, we always had lunch in the castle (long before it was CRT). One of my few memories is the butter pats with Mickey heads in them. That always impressed the crap out of me!!

I think your choices at LeCellier makes for the perfect meal...I could go for that right now!! (wishing for that drooling smilie again)
I don't know what it says about me that it still impresses me as an adult. :rotfl2:
I could go for that for lunch today, much better then the bagel I brought.

Oh, LL, I'm sorry you were in the funk. I am VERY glad to read things were a bit brighter once you got into LeCellier and had a great lunch! I hope you make it to Saana...(can't reall if you Twittered about that, or...?)
I was in a funk but all funks pass. I twittered selective about certain things.

I am so happy that you got to eat at Le Cellier and had a wonderful meal! :goodvibes
It was so yummy!

Thanks, MEK. I have already bought sneakers that I have started to break in. I will have better luck with my feet next trip for sure!

And it works great on all areas that irritate. Wonderful stuff! I have a little tiny stick of it I keep in my bag now at all times. You never know!
I have seen it, I will have to pick some up!

Can I ask where you get Body Glide? I couldn't find it at Target or Walmart. Thanks!!!:goodvibes
I've also seen it at REI and Eastern Mountain Sports. :thumbsup2

We found it at Dicks Sporting goods..........
Oooh, I haven't thought to check there.

OH I am so jealous that I had to forgo my Le Cellier ADR when we switched our dates!!!! :headache::headache: Next trip!

You can get it in December! It will be even more delicious then. It's hard to take pics in there, it is very dark but nice adn relaxing.

aww LL I'm so sorry about your feet! I hope you are able to get out of that funk!

I've only eaten at LeCellier once and I definately want to try it again. That cheese soup is worth it alone! :thumbsup2

Just found and caught up on your trip report today. Then I decided I would peruse your September trip report to get to know you better :) So I was reading through your date selection process and when you said you could combine Labor Day and your birthday, I was intrigued. Then I read your ADR list and............we have the same birthday!:banana: (Although, unfortunately, I am older.)

The cheese soup is so good, I was surprised at how good it was.
How are the wedding plans coming along?? :goodvibes

Thanks for joining in! :yay: for the same Birthday! I'm trying to figure out what I want to do this year...because if I don't plan something it will just be another boring day. :rotfl:

Love Le Cellier! We have to miss it this trip :sad2:; it is F & W and we decided to graze around the world.

Sorry about your foot. I can understand how you were feeling. I had a wicked blister near the end of our trip just as we started Epcot as well:headache:. I was walking slowly and on the side of my foot our last day. We had a late flight the next day but I stayed at the resort rather than deal with walking more on the blister. It was the worst I ever had, it filled up with blood:sad1:.

I tried Body Glide with socks and Rockport walking shoes. DH is of the opinion that it gave me the blister, but I am not sure if I used it properly. Plus the bottom of my shoes were quilted. I thought that would provide cushioning, but now I think the uneven surface is the reason for the friction that caused the blister. DH said the Body Glide caused my feet to move more because they lubricated them.

Got myself some crocs, inspired by your pre trip! Do Crocs and Body Glide work well together? Do not want a blister this time, my son is going with his best friend, they are like brother and sister (in a good way) :cloud9: and do not want to miss a minute of it worrying about my stupid feet!

Plans are going well, thanks for asking. Just little things left to purchase. I can't believe its almost 2 months away!

My crocs didn't work well for me this time around. I love them still but they were not supportive enough when I dealing with my blisters. I think the trick is to have lots of shoes that you can rotate with.
Maybe someone who has used Body Glide with Crocs can give you some input, I have never used it so I don't know how it would work.

Tag, you're it!
:lmao: I think we should get CP into our game of Update Tag!

:laughing::laughing:

Well, she did update at your request. :rolleyes1
We'll see. Either tonight or tomorrow most likely. Marc is in training at work this week, he has to leave before I get home so I won't see him again until Thursday night...I will be bored.

Plans are going well, thanks for asking. Just little things left to purchase. I can't believe its almost 2 months away!
Planning time goes by fast, especially the closer you get! :thumbsup2

Oh No to being late for your ADR! You know if could be worse. I read on a TR before (pardon me if you're subscribed to this one!) but they had a reservation at Victoria and Albert's got all dressed up, fancy dressed up mind you, I believe during their honeymoon and they get there and they have the wrong DAY. :headache:It's scheduled for tomorrow! I felt so bad reading that one..had to treck all the way back to their hotel and hurry up for their real reservation, to which the name escapes me at the moment! How horrible though!
Hope to read about your feet feeling better soon!

LL, I think having different shoes to wear is a good idea! I usually have several pairs and try to change through them a lot! Wearing one pair in the morning, e.g. sneakers, and then others, e.g. sandals, in the afternoon or so. Works very well for me! :goodvibes
