ADR switchers!!!

ok does anyone else feel the same way i do and plan, and plan for ADRS spend hours on the disboards-- and then right after you book then you re think what you have and wonder-- hmmm what the heck did i book that? or am i the only one? lol i just booked my ADRS on Friday-- but if i am going to chance them i want to do it soon-- below it what i booked and the ones that have a (?) by them are the ones i am rethinking and my reason--- please give me a honest opinion on each one in question-- i am driving myself bananas!! this is what i have:

9/10 late arrival earls or wolfgang pucks express CS only

9/11 breakfast Kona Cafe
dinner: liberty tree tavern

9/12 Coral Reef

9/13 Sci-Fi (?) i just dont know about this one?? please give advice and what you guys think of this place

9/14 Kona Cafe Dinner

9/15 Mama Melrose (?) i hear so many mixed things i just dont know

9/16 WCC (?) i have been reading reviews that seem mixed but saying food horrible?

9/17 Narcoosee's (?) is this really worth 2 credits?

9/18 Le Cellier

We have alot of the same ADR's . I to get anxiety and feel I want to change some. I have already changed Boma for 1900 Park Fare bc I felt I had to many upscale restaurants and not enough Character meals .And also read alot of posts about kids not liking the food. I'm sure I will make a few more changes before we go Sept 10th.
I'm guilty of switching resorts also.
For every one person that loved a place you will get one that hated it, it's all personal taste.
This is our second time going with free dining so alot of my choices were different just to try something new.
We are repeating Coral Reef, HDDR, and Chef Mickey thats all.
Sci- Fi is the only place I have been to on your list and the kids enjoyed the atmosphere but the food was very fast foodish and nothing special.
You may have to wait extra long if you want to be in a car.We waited an extra half an hour to sit in a car.Would not go back.
Did Liberty Tree and really liked it . It was like thanksgiving dinner! It was a Character meal last year and would go back but no characters this year.

Sci-Fi is a fun place to eat. Almost everyone agrees they have great hamburgers, onion rings and milkshakes. I've had the ribs and think they are pretty good too.

dinner: liberty tree tavernI am not a big fan of the food at dinner, always did it for the Characters before, now it has been bumped from my list. I can eat stove top stuffing at home anytime I want to.

I have done a little ADR switching in the past, not a lot as it is hard to get reservations after day 1. Just make sure you cancel the ones you don't want to use and maybe someone who really wants to go there will be able to get in then.

This will be my first trip to WDW so I can't help you as to whether or not you should keep an ADR, or why...but I do agree, I have ADR anxiety already....Lol

I made my CRT ressie, then called back and switched times - glad I did. Now I"m having issues with my Tusker House time so I think I'm going to call back and try to change that to a later breakfast instead of something so early - we will see.

WCC is fantastic...we have always had great food there, and the service is wonderful...we like loud and crazy though, that's important here! Their desserts are great too!

I would do Sci-Fi for lunch and that's about it. It is fun and we have eaten there several times. Good burgers! Plus, if you are on the dining plan, their shakes are considered one of the beverage choices.

We ate there once and the chicken parm was not good at all! Surprisingly, the steaks were very good. We would have thought for an Italian restaurant, the opposite would be true. Also, bread is considered an appetizer and does not come out automatically. I think it is a better dinner option that Sci-fi

If you like so-so food and a VERY loud atmosphere, then stick with this. We found the service to be EXTREMELY slow. We had a 7pm ADR and we barely made Wishes at 10pm! Our order got messed up with the table next to ours and it just was not one of the more enjoyable dining experiences.

Yes I belong to the WDW ADR Switchers Club....but not by choice, because DH makes me nuts with changing his mind!

Now I have it down to the places we like and do not like so I think we will just stick with what we know.....

I think you have some great places lined up!

Every place you have booked has it's followers and detractors. At one time or other they have all gotten good and bad reviews. It would be the same for virtually any other place you might have in mind. So I would keep what you have made!!
