How far in advance can you pre-order the Photopass CD?

I just called the customer service line for PhotoPass. I spoke with Mike. He said that I could order it anytime before my trip and if I get home from the trip and it is expired, just call them with the code in the confirmation email and they will fix it. This was as of 6/3/09 @ 1030.

I also received an email that basically stated the same thing in response to an email query.

I ordered mine last night for a trip in October. There is a discount code you can use: 9VISARD15. It is a promotion from Disney Visa.

Yes, it makes the total of the pre-order $85 instead of $100.

I have read through a bunch of threads here that say the pre-order expires after 60 days. The thing is, that info came from another website, NOT the PhotoPass site. The PhotoPass site says NOTHING about how far in advance you may pre-purchase the CD. The receipt and confirmation say NOTHING about the code expiring after 60 days. It says if you do not want a CD you MUST request a refund within 10 days of the end of your vacation. It also says you must claim your photos within 30 days, which has pretty much always been the deal. It says absolutely nothing about using the pre-purchase code within 60 days.

I pre-ordered my CD this week. We won't be home until 8/15, so 8/16 will be the earliest I will do anything with the PhotoPass cards as far as entering them, putting borders on, etc. I doubt I will finish 14 days of pics in one night, so it will probably be 8/22 before I am realistically ready to order the CD. If they say my code is expired I will inform them I need a new code, because the website DOES NOT advise that the code will expire.

Thank you so much for posting this code! Cause of it I was able to order the CD and the book. My DH wasn't to thrilled of the $149 price, but cause of the code he couldn't say much anymore. LOL!!!

Our trip isn't until the end of Sept and I was dead set on getting the book also so I kept putting it off hoping my DH would come around. Once I read this post that they are going to up the price and then saw the code, that was it for me and DH said fine! LOL!!

My oldest son is turning 13 on the 23rd and since we do BIG trips 1 every 4 years, by the time we go back to Disney I'm sure he will not want to go with the family. So the Photopass book is going to make a real treasure for me since I'm sure this will more then likely be our last BIG family vaca all together.

Thanks so much everyone! I started to use the discount a week or so ago, got distracted and forgot about it before I placed the order. Came on here this morning and saw this and ordered it right away. We don't got until 9/7 (92 days from now), but it sounds like it won't be too hard to get a new code, and $85 is heck of a lot better than $150! Thanks again!
