Car parking at the Ricoh Arena !

im slightly panicking that ive left it to late to book a car park space ?? does anyone know where is the best place to park for the arena

We booked ours a couple of weeks ago and it was £17.50, luckily b/c I drive a 7 seater S Max the ladies I am driving there have split the ££ between them all. I heard that they were saying anyone parking on nearby roads would be clamped which I thought was a bit harsh, but probably just my luck!! Give them a ring and see if you can still book it.

When we went to see The Specials, we just parked at the Tesco's car park, otherwise we end up parking at hubby's workplace and have a good 15/20 minute walk to the stadium

I'm not sure what we're doing yet, I'll let you know as soon as I do Nat

Thanks hun, if you want to come with us you are more than welcome, we have not got to rush back for the kids as my mum is having them overnight

Seriously, I wouldn't risk just parking on the road in 'the zone'. The ticket wardens were out in force when Cov City were in the FA Cup 1/4 finals (think that's how far they got) which I thought was a shame. I can imagine them doing the same for this. They may have wardens on the gate at the tesco car park - think the official rule will be you need to spend £25 to stay there longer than 2 hours.

We are hoping to walk - it's probably just over a mile from us (we are just outside the restricted area which is just a well as its such a faf on event days as you need parking permit so visitors can park outside your house!)

Just hope the weather improves

When we went there the parking & traffic was horrendous, however we also managed to park at Tesco, thats where they were sending everyone in the end, there was'nt any parking left anywhere else.
