Biergarten question

Hey guys :-) I've never been to Biergarten because I'm afraid I'd be disappointed...but I saw a post below where everyone LOVES it.

I would love it if at Biergarten it's a loud place with plenty of beer and people laughing and having fun...a little dark too. Big liter steins of beer would also be great....and being able to stay for 2-3 hours without people looking at you odd for being loud and stay for so long.

That's what I think of when I want to go to a Biergarten so please let me know if Disney's Biergarten will suffice and leave me happy :-)

Thanks! :thanks:

This was precisely our experience. We stayed for a VERY long time, drank lots of beer in flights and in steins and had a total blast. Long tables with benches, music, great atmosphere, you will love it!

We just got back Tuesday and ate at the Biergarten on Sunday.. We had a blast.. Before we were seated, the hostess introduced us to the family we shared the table with. We had a great conversation with them and the food was awesome. I Didn't have any beers but boy they did look tasty. Overall it was an awesome time there.... :cool1::thumbsup2

1) Yep.
2) That is what Biergarten can be like.
3) Of course, it all depends upon the cheerfulness of the crowd that night.
4) We have stumbled out of it several times. *

* We were glad we could use the rear entrance. If we have to walk to International Gateway or the Main Entrance, we don't know if we could have made it.

Ugh!! I'm so torn over lunch at Biergarten or Chefs de France! :sad2:

I want to see Remy and have the French Menu for lunch :cloud9: but I know my kids would have so much more fun at the Biergarten! :headache:

What to do.....what to do......:confused3

Just wondering if this is very family oriented or more of an adult evening type place? Thanks!

We go at lunch time and at Christmas. They have the kids come down and dance. They also tell them a story. I assume they do this other times of the year also. To me it is kid friendly. The loudness of it is because people are enjoying themselves. Some people drink lots of beer and some people don't but there have always been lots of kids around when we are there. I think it is the kind of place where pretty much everyone enjoys themselves.

We love Beirgarten - my kids have eaten there since they were little and love it :)

I would say very family oriented!

I agree 100%!!! This is one place my DD and her Dad can dance together.:cutie: The music is fun and the atmosphere is so neat!
Dusk is my favorite time of day though, so I may be biased about the atmosphere!!:thumbsup2

Hey I heard the band might play some Christmas music during the Holidays..any truth to this and when does it start? I'll be there on about the 21st of Dec I think
