Hey friends, Angelina has an interview with the hospital this afternoon! I said this was a bureaucracy. I didn't even realize she had applied for this position over a month ago!

My grandmother was not southern. She came from Serbia she was a wonderful cook. I learned my love of cooking from her.

Buddy's Grandma came from Lithuania and used pork fat and pork bits and pork everything in everything she cooked. His aunt learned from her and I swear her food was the best I ever had in my life! She taught her and thru her Buddy's cousins how to cook with love. I think the love came from the pork . Sad thing is that Buddy and his brother Gary don't like the memory food, but both could eat it and not gain weight. The rest of us love it but it is not friendly to us

Since this seems to be an ongoing thing I wonder if you are allergic to mold. Did you get better while you were away from home?

Bob got a call back from the agency. They didn't know anything about it, it took them all day to contact her. All she said was she'd been very sick & would be here tonight! Since they didn't have anyone else to come out, Bob says we need to see if she shows & just "suck it up". I guess we don't have any other options there.

I had a nice lunch with Donny. His car broke down on the way to work so I rescued him from the garage. He is out car shopping now, will pick up Kady adn then take Marisa's car for tomorrow. He is so excited! He interviewed for a position that he really wanted, after 4 years in teh same position he was ready for a change. He was offered the job and starts in June. His coleagues are very happy, if this works...whatever it is that he does...there will be doors opened for them

Dinner will be a baked spaghetti and a big salad. This one will not have fruit so Buddy will not gag at the thought of it

Maria - Any weekend in June should work for me. You said not Memorial Day and you are leaving the 19th, so I guess that leaves the 6/7 or 13/14. You get back the day before I leave, so that won't work.

Lauren - I'm so jealous that Tommy is sleeping so well for you! Timothy did well for a while, but now he's teething, and things are crazy!

ABT = Atomic Buffalo Turds(I dont like the name, so I use the initials).

Jalapeno peppers stuffed with all sorts of variations. the one I use

whole seeded, and cored jalapenos with a slice taken out of one side. I then fill with a mixture of cream cheese, roasted garlic, Krab, shredded cheese, Then wrap in bacon, and put on the smoker for 2 hours. The peppers come out mild, and they are a tasty treat. Others put lil smokeys under the bacon, etc, lots of variations.

load so slowly. the bbq event that I posted a couple pics of was a couple weekends ago & was a success, 40 people including a local guy who just wrote a bbq book, and Sweet Baby Ray & 2 members of his competition bbq team(the bbq sauce guy).

I saw on FB that you have had some rough nights Hope that Timmy tooth breaks through and that Katie feels better.

I think Donny bought a truck. He totaled his Silverado a several years ago and has wanted to replace it but has never felt comfortable adding that expense. I think that today he figured out he might as well get one but he has had many Buddy years to influence him. He just could not bring himself to buy a new one

Forgot to say earlier that I am feeling better today, more awake! I did get to move away from my desk and do something other that registration. I have 300 confirmations that I have got to get out and was able to get about 100 of them done today!

ETA that I read your blog and now I am drooling! I have been wanting a smoker but my DH thinks it will be one more "thing" that I had to have but don't use. I am going to show him your pics...get him right where it counts....his stomach!
