If I decide I want to buy MIL a meal while I am there on the quick service plan can I??? Are all the credit equal or do I get so many child and so many adult?

Sorry about hi-jacking this thread but I didn't know that the CS meals were not separated between adults and kids. So technically for my trip I could just do 2 CS meals to split between me and kids (ages 6 & 12)...is that right?:confused3

TIA

If you have two adults and two children on your key card you can purchase two adult meals at a time, no more.

You are not supposed to use credits for which you paid a child's price to purchase meals from the regular menu where there is a children's menu available. It's also the rule with the dining plan that you may not use it to buy meals for people who are not on your reservation or your dining plan.

The DIS does not permit its use to get around Disney's clearly stated rules, so discussion of ways to do so isn't allowed on this board and will be deleted where it appears.

As TDC indicated, if your MIL isn't part of your reservation and DP you are not permitted to use those credits to buy her a meal. That is a standard part of the DP, it doesn't matter if its QS, Basic or the Deluxe version of the plan.

As for distinguishing child vs adult CS credits you are indeed supposed to purchase child meals for children. However, there are some CS places that do no offer any child meals so adults and children order off the same menu. Check the sticky at the top of this thread..."Everything you want to know". I think there is a partial list of places that only offer an adult menu.
