Thanks for posting a live update! We will be arriving in just 6 days - can't wait!!!

I assume you are on a laptop computer? Is the plug in between the two beds or over by the round table (near the window)? Just curious as I'll be bringing my laptop as well!

Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip! How are the crowds? Thinning out - I hope!!!

That's why I love this board , there are so many other guests regularly updating the information. It's great to know what is happening as it happens you are amazing We are really looking forward to our stay in September and we are hoping the weather isn't too wet at this time of year but even if it does get damp at least we'll have a nice hotel room to relax in

I think it will all depend on the size of the computer. At Pop, I had a 13" macbook and that fit perfectly. I don't know if I would have been able to fit my 15" IBM work laptop though. If it doesn't fit, just lock it in your luggage and put one of those TSA approved luggage locks on it. I've done that in the past with no problems!

The safe is not very big I wouldn't want to cram a laptop in there. We took one last year and just placed it in one of the drawers during the day. It was fine we didn't have any problems. The internet is very slow there though!

I booked a standard view at POFQ for our upcoming trip. I noticed that portorleans.org lists Buildings 1, 6 and 7 as the quietest. Now I'm looking for specific suggestions for quiet rooms/areas to request. I'm very senstitive to extraneous noise and would like to try and avoid it if at all possible (i.e. away from pool, walkways, food court etc.)

I have stayed in BLGD 1 which is by the riverside of the resort. It is very quiet there. We were on the third floor.

Are you facing the pool or the courtyard? Any smells of smoke at all? Not sure if that bldg used to be a smoking bldg.

All Disney resorts have been non-smoking for nearly two years now, I rather doubt there will be any smells lingering now. Other than from any recent inconsiderate guests, of course - although Disney reserves the right to charge them a $250-$500 "room recovery" fee.

I bought a Mickey hoodie yesterday, and DD has been wearing her sweater. No rain expected until Monday, and even then just 30% chance. 80 degrees and sunny so far.
My internet is on the table, not nightstand.
As for crowds, mornings are PERFECT, by 10 am crowds are getting bigger. We were at MK until late last night. Tons of Grads for Grad nights but dtill a walk onto Pirates and Stitch at 11pm.

Need to get some coffee- and beignets!!!
I'll look for my fellow Diser. Got my LGMH!

We are back. Left early this morning. As for the the connection it is near the table and I was on my mom's HP laptop that did not fit in the wall safe. She just left it on the table the whole time and it was fine.

We were in Bldg 3 second floor and facing the walkway to the Main bldg and except for my crying DS1 at night it was pretty quiet. Actually the whole resort for being a busy week was so quiet and peaceful. Unlike the parks that were mobbed with people We actually took advantage of the early morning hours to MK.

Unfortunately, Boatwrights is no longer open for breakfast. I would assume then that morning coffee is not available, right?

We will be there the very end of may- specifically May 27-June 3rd to celebrate my daugther's 3rd birthday. We are getting SOOOOO excited!! When will you be there? If you only have 33 days, it doesn't seem that we'll be there at the same time.
