You won't be disappointed. It's absolutely beautiful! :goodvibes

I'm loving your trip report and pictures! We stayed at AKL with a savannah view a few years ago and LOVED it!! If we had the resources, we would have become members there when it opened. I know that one of these days we'll make it to AKV!!!

So good to see that you're having a great time!

Thanks for the pictures of the value 1 BR! The furniture in the MB looks tight. Is there a ethernet line connection in the MB around the desk?

Great Trip Report! Makes me wish I was still on my honeymoon!

I think there are a lot of us here who would mail you $1 each if you got pics of the Kidani pool - lol! You'd probably be able to pay for your trip.

Thanks for the pics, it reminds me of "home". We had a huge master bedroom when we stayed- probably 6 feet between the bedroom door and the bed. The room and the view look awesome anyway- glad you're having a great time.:goodvibes

Yes, it is tight. I'm sitting here right now, and if there's 6" in between each of the pieces (the desk, tv stand and armoire), I'd be surprised. It feels tight, but definitely not bad, though. I would definitely stay here again to save some points! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the kind words, and your wedding pics are beautiful. Looks like you guys had a great time!

I will definitely try and venture over there! It's so close to opening, I'm hoping it's still not under lock-n-key! I love you guys...but I don't want to go to Disney jail for breaking and entering! :lmao:

If I can figure it out by the map, I may be able to go somewhere in Jambo and be able to see it. I doubt it, though, or we'd have a picture by now, huh? ;)

Ummmm...I bet the bedroom width is only 6'! :lmao: Just kidding! We have about 4' on each side of the bed, and about 4' in between the foot of the bed and the furniture against the wall. It's small, but very manageable.

Thanks for the report! Very interested in seeing if you manage a James Bond reconnoiter of the Kidani pool! But hey, you do have your own vacation to work on!

Thanks for the pics, they will help to get sister/brother in law and family to come with us next year when we go back down to stay at ak.

Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to go back 'home'.

Wow, Kidani has changed a lot since January! Can't wait to see it again in a few weeks! Thanks for posting.

BTW, we have felt in all our AKV stays so far that bus transportation there is spectacular! It sounds like they are doing a good job even in this high demand time.....that's good!:thumbsup2

Thank you for posting your beautiful pictures! Hope you and your family have a wonderful time!

While for the value points, your room is certainly fine. But is it my imagination, or is even the balcony smaller (more narrow) in the value 1 bedroom ?

I had a savanna view 1 bedroom in Aug and our balcony seems wider or did we just get lucky with a wider one ?

Here was mine :

It looks that way in the floor plans as well. Thanks for posting your photo because I had been wondering just how much of a difference it made and now I can see that the difference is very noticeable.

ETA: Here is a Jambo House non-Value 1BR on the left and a Value 1BR on the right. You can see that the floor plans show a difference in the depth of the balconies between the Value and non-Value rooms in Jambo House.

You can also see the difference if you look at the outside of the Jambo House building. Compare the balconies on the 4th floor with those on the 5th floor on the Zebra or Kudu trail (the horseshoe and its "spurs"). You can see that the 5th floor balconies overhang those on the 4th and lower floors but that it's not just because the rooms are longer, you can see that the balconies are a bit deeper as well. Assuming the Value rooms on the 5th floor are exactly the same dimensions (both the room and the balcony) as the 4th floor AKL rooms then I would expect the same size differences in the balconies of the Value and non-Value AKV room balconies.
