i keep reading people saying about the peter pan ride, but honestly unless we are thick (!!) we were in DLRP 2 wks ago & never saw this ride??

It's located in Fantasyland, next to Toad Hall restuarant, opposite the Cafe de la Marrionette. It's really close to Pirates of the Carribbean in Adventureland and also Dumbo in Fantasyland

Using the wonders of Google Earth

6 - POTC

thankyou, can't see how we missed it as the 2 little ones went on dumbo & we all went on POTC! :confused3 none of us can recall it!

will have a close look at our photos!

I think you'd probably remember it if you'd have been on it.

You get into carriages which are ships which are attatched to a rail on the celing to give the impression that you are flying. First scenes are those in the kids bedroom then outside over London, through the stars, over the Island and then past a swordfight and a scene with Peter Pan sailing the boat, Smee in a rowing boat and Captain Hook trying not to be eaten by the crocodile (I think that's how it goes :goodvibes)

Generally outside of EMH Peter Pan has long waiting lines, it also has fastpass facility.

that google earth pictur is fab :yay: the ride sounds brilliant, def one to look out for in sept:banana:

that is one of our faveourite rides. you will have to look out for it in sept. its a lot of fun. we all miss things there though. there were loads of restaraunts i didnt see till our second trip and i still havent seen where indiana jones rollercoaster is lol

My four year old screamed at the crocodile on this lol, yet is desperate to go on the TOT! What gives?!!

It's a lovely ride for those who don't do rollercoasters as it still has a slight thrill factor with flying - though I'm still convinced I'm going to fall out one of these days :lmao:

i know what you mean :rotfl2:

also if you sit in the back it can be quite jerky. my 2 year old wanted to sit on the chair and her poor body was bruised by the time we got off

and i still havent seen where indiana jones rollercoaster is lol

Any excuse for a play around on Google Earth instead of actually doing some work :goodvibes

The arrow on the top left shows where the Indiana Jones ride is :thumbsup2

1 - Swiss Family Robinson Tree House
2 - Woody's Roundup
3 - Frontierland Stage (where Mickey's Winter Wonderland was)
4 - Frontierland Station
5 - Cowboy Cookout
6 - Entrance to Adventureland from Frontierland, you turn left here instead of going straight on for the bridge to the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House

We found 2 rides we didn't know existed in january!!!..

not sure of the names but

a crazy wee train thing and a boat you go in and go round all the stories. They couldn't have been open the other 3 times thats all I can say!:rotfl:

dont worry they are often closed. they were closed for four days of my last trip when they were supposed to be opened

Casey Junior and Le Pays des Contes des Feys (Storybook Canal Ride) :thumbsup2

The problem with them is that they are slightly hidden from view, you only really see them from the DLRP Railroad.

Hopefully if/when the Little Mermaid ride opens there will be far much more 'foot traffic' around the area and they may well be open more often.
