DF just got bumped off of a flight to Minnesota and got some travel vouchers, he said if we want we can use them to go to WDW in July for a long weekend! We have only ever stayed at SSR and BCV and getting ready for a long stay at OKW here soon, MY question is where would you recommed us to stay? We are probably just goin to stay in a studio cause it is the two of us, but let me know! Pro's Cons and why you chose the resort! TIA everyone for all of your help!

BWV with BWView, top floor looks on lake, BCV and epcot fire works. We own at SSR and OKW but stay at BW with a BWView. Lots of things going on and good restraunts on the board walk.

Ditto.

i can honestly say that i am a little turned off by the whole BCV and BWV after our horrible expierence we had last fall at bcv, but alas i digress...

We are doing a quicky just us leave the kids home for Memorial Day W/E, and we are staying at OKW, the studio is much bigger than the others, and we just love it there more. We have stayed in all of them with the exception of Saratoga and Animal Kingdom.

No matter where you are, you will have fun!!

OK, I absolutely loved my 5th floor Boardwalk view studio last week...but,

How about Savannah or Concierge View at AKV or splurging for a 1 bedroom with the big jacuzzi tub and lovely balcony at OKW?

The rooms are also quite lovely at SSR and VWL.

Really, you can't go wrong.

Another vote for BWV:thumbsup2

Try something different... VWL beautiful resort MK area or AKL Savanna view
DH and I love to try out all the different resorts. A short stay is a good time to do that
Also if It's just the two of you a studio with a sofa/ LR area is very comfortable.. good luck

Why not call MS and see what's available first......this way you won't get excited about a specific resort/view and then not be able to get it. Just because you call for availability doesn't mean you have to book it during that initial phone call......but, at least you will know what your choices are.....

Since you've stayed at SSR and will be staying at OKW, I vote for VWL. I fell in love with VWL when we went back in Aug. IMHO, it's very romantic! The grounds and lodge are just beautiful. I think the rooms are cool as well. If not there, probably AKV.

I second this course of action.

Our choices would first be VWL, and then AKV. Best wishes for you to get something!

it's a long shot, but why not try for a concierge level studio at AKL. It would be a nice anniversary treat to have the little extra ammenities. Otherwise, a savana view studio would be a nice.

df is calling later today so i will keep ya'll posted! thanks again for all of the advice, I think I am leaning towards VWL

Ditto, ditto!! I think VWL and AKL provide the most "romantic" get-a-ways. And for an Anniversary trip, what could be better?? Don't forget dinner at either Artist's Point or Jiko, depending where you stay!!

My vote would not be one of the DVC resorts it would be Grand Floridian. My husband and I stayed there last year for our 25th anniversary. We used our points to pay for it and did dinner at Victoria and Albert's. The rooms are beautiful and romantic. We also took some nice moonlight walks by the lake.

One of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations I've had.

thank you everyone for all of your input. I should know either later today or tomorrow what is available and I will let everyone know as soon as I do!

Most romantic DVC's onsite....

OKW 1 bedroom in building 46
AKV concierge studio or 1 bedroom
AKV savanna view anything
VWL facing lake or woods
