Park Tickets?

Hey everyone,

I am going in July for the first time ever during my trip to Paris... we are staying at a hotel near the park and have 2 days to go. I looked on the Disneyland Paris site and for U.S. people it says a 2 day hopper is 151 dollars. I went on the UK site and I did the conversion and it came out to less money...

I will pay the 150 dollars if that is the price, but how have people from the U.S. gotten their tickets? At the gate? In advance? Are there any discount sites out there where I can get my ticket cheaper? Thanks so much for any advice!

Bumping because I'm curious about this too. Can someone please tell us the price in Euros if you buy at the gate? For UK residents, do you usually pay in Pounds in advance, or pay in Euros when you get there? LOL, I think I'm going to have to build a spreadsheet to track exchange rates of dollars, euros, and pounds...

It's 108 EURO at the gate for a 2 day park hopper. Assuming the exchange rate remains around 1.33 USD = 1 EUR that's $143.

OK, I just had another thought on this ...the Francilien Annual Passport is only E89, or about $118. The catches are that there are blackout dates (this July, they are 4, 5, and 11-14) AND that you can't use it on the second and third days after you buy it. But if you're going to spend several days in Paris, you could buy the AP and use it one day, visit Paris for a few days, and then go back to DLRP for another day (or several!)
For you DLRP AP experts, are there any flaws in this idea that I'm missing?
OP, might this stragety work for you?

This might work but be aware that Francilien has 65 blackout days :)

It happens sometimes; the prices in your country may also be based upon demand (for example school holidays) which is not uniform across the market. Two years ago, we bought our accommodation/tickets package on the French site in Euros and it was a load cheaper.
